This might just be my first post here of a video about my other channel.

I was kind of on the fence about making this one but decided to just do it at the last minute.

I've never really talked about my dyslexia but it was kind of unavoidable in a video like this. Folks say I have a good speaking voice so why not use it by reading something? Well...

I actually had a lot of fun making this video. Struggling with reading isn't great but people aren't listening to me read, per se, they are listening to my voice! The context is different because I'm not delivering information via reading, but rather, relaxation via reading!

I have to admit, my reading is worse than I thought it would be. I seem to mix up words all the time and I absolutely do not realize I'm doing it when I'm talking so I don't know how I can avoid it. Makes me feel a little self conscious but, oh well.

Hopefully this one will be well received because I wouldn't mind doing another one like it soon!

My partner recommended I read this silly little book about 80s arcade games. Since the subject is familiar enough, it shouldn't be that much of a struggle to read, right? This type of video is different from others I've done and I'll admit it was pretty scary at first but it ended up being really fun. I joked around a bit more in this video than others; please let me know if that took away from the relaxation/asmr! I hadn't considered overlaying pictures of the games in the video while I was describing the screens so that's why it might sound a little weird like I'm describing something that you can obviously see.
