SQUID GAME SEASON 2 EPISODE 1 FULL LENGTH REACTION - WATCH ALONG

Comments

John Lee

Since you guys are watching squid games which is a korean show and are watching zombie movies I recommend "Kingdom" (Netflix Series).

Along the same vein as Squid Game, I'd suggest taking a look at Alice in Borderlands. It's Squid Game meets Lost. :D Honestly, it's debatable which one is better. Both are amazing.

yeeeesss i've been waiting for you guys to react to this <3

Definitely a unique series, I’m a fan. I wouldn’t be upset if you started watching the Resident Evil movies.

The second season of Alice in borderlands was utterly abysmal. 20 minute long conversations where they say the same thing over and over again 50 times. The single biggest drop off in quality from one season to the next ever.

PDC717

Yes! That is the single best thing on Netflix. Everything from the narrative to the costume design to the set design to the acting is top-notch.

after you finish season 2 you should watch the squid game hot ones (ending spoilled in it) it was pretty darn entertaining :)

Oh shit. As a general rule I've avoided watching reactors do this season because I don't want to spoil anything trying to discuss it and I don't want to hear people dumping on this season and this show just because of the Episode 7 ending. But I'm gonna have to watch this one. I really think this Season premiere was better than the very first episode. We're in this world now and we don't have to spend time learning who as many people are. We've spent 9 episodes with Gi-Hun and now we get to just follow his journey without having to really learn more about him, which leaves room for new characters. I'll be sad when this show ends - I think at the end of Season 3 this summer. It really is m comfort show right now, as F'ed up as it is. The sound design, the color design, the lighting, the cinematography is all so good and for some reason I take comfort the balance between how foreign everything is (not knowing written Korean and only knowing as much spoken Korean as Korean cinema has taught me) and how familiar it is, because of how this show is simply about humanity underneath everything. If I can post some minor spoilers (possibly) without having watched your reaction yet, the guy Gi-hun hired is the loan shark from the pilot episode. He came back from the games and paid the guy back all the money he owes him, and hired him. It's so cool how Season 2 has revisited so many characters from day 1 and expanded on them. One footnote - you asked how they knew where Gi-Hun was. In Episode 2 - Hell, when they let everyone go home, the Front Man tells the staff to keep track of all of the contestants, even the ones who didn't come back. So it's reasonable to expect they're tracking all of the winners, too, which is how In-Ho probably got involved (which we know from the first season, episode 7, and because they showed his face, and named him.) But of course the episode will answer your question faster than it took me to pause both videos and type this out. Also, Gong Yoo is SO GOOD in this episode. I tried to do the same as you did - I held it together for like 24 hours after Season 2 came out so I could do reactions on my other channel but it was immediately blocked no matter what I did and it wasn't even monetized so I just gave up after the 2nd episode and binged the season the day after it came out.

They didn't spoil the ending lol. It was all just really dumb fan theories that don't make any sense.

on another reaction they had a section blurred off not sure by which end but it was about the end of season 2 not the series
