Gek boys, where do babies come from?

Brian kelly

another GOT drop we are getting blessed way more then we deserved W geks

Caraxes🐐DT

Sam is not breaking his oath lol he’s going to become a maester that’s not the same he’s basically becoming maester aemon.

Nomaan

Let Tyrion cook? Missandei and Grey Worm are the ones who lived thru the horrors of slavery i don’t think they should sit back and let Tyrion make all the decisions for the future of all the slaves.

Kim555

Thank yall for the constant uploads we appreciate it

Anthony Rodriguez

lord royce’s ancestor is daemon’s ex dead wife

Kite

happy that they're close to some great episodes but sad cause then they'll have to watch season 7 and 8 😞

Sarah Wevers

Thank you for blessing us!!!

JAY

JON AND SANSA 😭 after teasing stark reunions and giving all those near misses for FIVE+ seasons this is, for me, the most emotionally satisfying moment in the show. ugh feels so good.

Shadow

Stark theme goes so hard

Bri-Ana Monique

Awww you guys do love us 😍😭

Bri-Ana Monique

& this is where my love hate relationship w/Sansa begins 😭

JC

Peak beggins

Daenerys Targaryen

The show never addresses this, but the Three-Eyed-Raven is actually a Targaryen bastard. He's a great-uncle to Maester Aemon.

JC

I always cry with this jon and sansa scene 😭😭😭 starks having a w for the first time since season 1 😂

Anthony Rodriguez

i told you… the high sparrow is a fcking communist!!!

Kris

This is one of my favorite episodes! 🥹

Nomaan

DAENERYS THE GLORIOUS QUEEN. even tho she isn’t fireproof in the books and it was just a one time thing for the birth of the dragons, I don’t mind it cos I’d rather not have a dragon come in and save the day

Jada

This was the only reunion where I cried. Out all of her family members, the one she treated like nothing was the one there for her😢😢

mar zelle

carters voicecrack 💀

Leo

The greatest and emotional reunion 🥺

Nomaan

BLOODRAVENNNN can’t wait to see him next year hopefully

Afra

ngl now that the high sparrows are in power I lowkey miss king joffrey 😔

tp

Real like even the deal he's making, I get that ending ages long tradition and culture is incredibly complicated but why would liberated slaves ever be content to hear that slavers get to not only live, but also continue slavery for 7 years until they figure out a new system of exploitation AND be compensated "for their loss"

Afra

Gek talking about danys hair being unburnt vs her actually being bald in the books is so funny to me hahahsjs 😭

Afra

Don’t even get me started on that Lannister drip he had 🤭

tp

"I grew up richer than all of you" well your ancestral home is built on a literal gold mine 😭

Nomaan

1:02:22 brig finally pronouncing dracarys like a true Targaryen 🔥

tp

Finally a win for the Starks

Shadow

Aegon was a just a good conqueror. Decent at politics, keeping his word, and had massive power. If people surrendered they would stay in power and not get burned an replaced but they would have to answer to him as King. And a lot of people saw the dragons or heard about when people refused and were like nah we good lol And he had 2 smart and strong sisters that really did just as much as him

Kneegrow

Been blessing us with GOT this week 🙏🏻

I❤️movies&tvshows

Jon as Lord Commander sent Sam to Old town to become a Maester. That’s why it’s not considered Dissertion. The Lotd Commander has the authority to send them anywhere. Remember Yuron that rescued Arya when Ned was killed. He had been sent to get men from the dungeons. In episode 1 we see Benjen at Winterfell he had permission to leave. Sam going to his home instead of the Citadel is bending the rules a bit. But he said he is going to drop her off and then go on to Old Town.

Afra

I would love to see you guys react to the history and lore of got I believe that’s on yt it explains like pretty much everything and before conquest !

lily p

I think Ramsay’s brutality is worse only cause he has motive 😭 Joffrey’s was for the love of the game, but there was also an element of naivety to him that others could manipulate like Margaery. Essentially he was a a spoiled rich kid who fell into the throne, whereas Ramsay understands strategy, plays at his advantages & if his plans fail, he’ll adapt and has no problem butchering his way to the top

Fatipapi

I love haikyu and got drop days w a passion 🥰🥰

Afra

I actually feel bad for rhaenys and visenya they were also conquerers people always forget them🥲

Leo

I don't know but I feel boys got spoiled heavily because of people like me

lily p

The prophecy of the prince that was promised relatively only states that they are prophesied to unite the realm against this foe, not necessarily that they will be the savior of westeros if that makes sense

Amna 🍉

Ngl the Jon and Sansa reunion hits a lot more when you've waited years and years for a Stark reunion😭😭

Shadow

Yea Rhaenys and Visenya need more respect. Thats why that conquest show will be so good

Amna 🍉

Sansa and Jon didn't really hate each other? They weren't the closest but they definitely kind of liked each other? We don't get a lot of them together in the books bc there's really no relationship there to even talk about. She's the only one out of the siblings who calls him half-brother because she knows bastard is not exactly a good word. She often prayed for him in king's landing as well. Jon also remembered Sansa being good to him. She gave him tips on how he should always call a girl's name pretty, he remembered that when he told Gilly her name was pretty. He also thought about Sansa when he woke up to a pink sky and how Sansa would've liked that. Sansa also wishes to see him when she finds out he's lord commander. Also, in the books Sansa is passing off as Littlefinger's bastard and she gets insulted for being a bastard, so she's kind of experiencing what Jon went through. So there'll be some character development there too.

Nick R

Is he though? There isn't a lot of nuance in his character, he's kinda just a mad man. The only thing I could think of is him being a bastard affects him which they show a little bit of.

Shadow

I mean bloodlines don’t make u fit or unfit to rule. There’s some targs that were most definitely fit to rule.

Amna 🍉

Tbh, there's no use getting deep into the prince that was promised prophecy bc the show just kinds of forgets about it💀😭

Caraxes🐐DT

Lot of Targaryens were fit to rule tho lol you can say the same about a few people in other houses but that don’t mean the family as a whole shouldn’t be in power.

Paula

I LOVE how Jon and Sansa are genuinely smiling when they are together. We never see these two happy

Sophia

I agree, Tyrion is smart and knowledgeable about Westeros but that doesn’t mean he can apply what he knows to the rest of the world, and making decisions without consulting Missandei and Grey Worm, who were raised in slavery, is just arrogant. And to continue the mistreatment and abuse of people for seven years just to make nice with the masters shows he does not understand what slaves go through day in and day out.

Renaldo Allard

Told ya John snow Carry’s the whole show season 5 and up bro watch and see greatness unfold

Afra

I hope so too! but I fear that the show will pit sister against sister fighting over aegon I’m calling it 😒

mk

book ramsay isnt more nuanced either, he is just a psycho, pure evil book roose bolton is maybe a bit more interesting

Thomas Strunk

getting spoiled by the crazy amount of GoT episodes this week

emma.bean

The reaction to Jon & Sansa reunion was much more subdued than I was expecting (with the exception of cannon 😂💕) but someone did make a fair point in these comments. Watching live you waited YEARS for this moment so the emotional payoff was maybe more impactful that way. I also get the feeling cannon might just be a bigger stark stan (stark includes jon idc if he a “snow”) than anyone else on the couch, which I just relate to because same.

Spencer

Would you argue the Joker isn't a well-written character by the same logic?

mk

no, because the joker's cruelty has an interesting twist to it, ramsay's does not

Nomaan

I can’t remember is that even stated in the book? I don’t even remember a mention about “uniting the realm”

Teej

You guys are absolutely KILLIN it with the releases. Thank you!!!

lily p

I’m just talking abt the context that they’ve purely given us in the show. From both GOT & House of the Dragon via Viserys and Rhaenyra! It’s def a bit different in the books

Amna 🍉

This is the only reason why I don't want Aegon the Conqueror's show. I know they will ruin their relationship

Shadow

Yea gotta do them right. They were the 3 heads of the dragon. They might be very different from each other but they’re one body. The dynamic is so interesting but Aegon and Visenya both loveddd lil sis Rhaenys.

Amna 🍉

I mean if I had three dragons, I would use them to save myself all the time lol

Amna 🍉

Also a reminder, "prince that was promised" doesn't necessarily mean is going to be a male. That phrase is originally said in valyrian so it addresses both genders.

Nomaan

Cannons confusion about The Prince That Was Promised is literally all of us😭 I personally don’t think it’s just one person but both Dany and Jon from what I’ve read in the books but that’s a conversation for another time

David S.

Not many W’s in GOT but when you do get one.. 🤌🏾🤌🏾

Bri-Ana Monique

Off topic but Jack being the first comment on this & the last GOT video isn’t even fair but I love the engagement 😂😭

Nomaan

Yep Maester Aemon’s paragraph in A Dance With Dragons says it perfectly. “No one ever looked for a girl. It was a prince that was promised... Rhaegar, I thought... The error crept in from the translation. Dragons are neither male nor female... Daenerys is the one, born amidst salt and smoke... Lady Melisandre has misread the signs.” And then George himself on his blog a couple weeks ago said Septon Barth was 99% correct about dragons having no gender… kinda reaffirmed my belief that it’s Dany and Jon

Jaqen H'ghar

I think the previous episode was called Oathbreakers because Allister, Olly, etc. broke their oath when they killed Jon. (I could be wrong, its been awhile)

Jaqen H'ghar

Cannon's gasp of joy when Sansa arrived, LOL

Liam

Yo where tf is Naruto

Tiga

I cannot WAIT for the boys to see next ep 😭. Things are cooking 😈😈

Bellaa

ahhh cannon being happy for once made me smile🤭

JC

This episode is about sisters Sansa, Yara and Margaery being stronger than their brothers

Ant just watching

This post show discussion was interesting

Amna 🍉

It's so weird seeing Sansa genuinely smile and be happy 😭😭

Marcusinmilw

Sam broke no oath nor is he a deserter. He was sent to Oldtown by the Lord Commander to become a maester after the loss of Maester Aemon. He is fulfilling his vow with integrity.

Marcusinmilw

6:03 Why does Brig think Jon is royal blood? He's the bastard son of Ned Stark and the Starks are not the Royal family. The Targaryens were the ruling monarchs, and now it's the Baratheons/Lannisters so how is Jon royal blood?

Uros Vesic

Rings Of Power would be goated watch trough. It is so bad that it is kinda fun to watch.

AlucardIV

I'm confused. Why do we know for sure that the woman on that tower is Targaryen? Did I miss something other than a scream, possibly female? Regardless, I think that as responsible adults it's time we helped you manage your expectations from now on. The Prince that was promised prophecy, don't think about it. It'd make for a better viewing experience.

Vik Mar

Nah the boys definitely need to watch that certain video after the season finale to understand what's what.

Liam

They stopped watching The Boys. Try to keep up.

Jessica

I love cannon for that reaction to the stark reunion 😭❤️

Tiga

If you read my comment correctly, you'd see i said "i can't wait for the boys (the geks) to watch next episode of game of thrones".....the video i have commented on

Jessica

NEXT EPISODE. Have to mentally prepare myself

Roy Koopa

The only problem with the Dany fire scene is… that she’s literally not fire proof lol. And furthermore! The Dothraki famously HATE magic. As soon as she walked out of there, after having burnt all their leaders at least someone would have taken a shot at her for sure.

Ali

So is there like an eta for that Naruto drop? Lol, that post of all episodes rn really got us hyped up... like 6 hrs ago. 😂

Fatipapi

mormonts/jons sword is called longclaw i believe

Shadow

U guys were talking about dragon fire in the post. Simple answer is magic. “Fire made flesh” But if u look closely at the dragons especially in hotd u can see 2 glands/tubes in the back of their mouth. They seem like they would spray some flammable chemicals/secretions out and then ignite with heat/fire from inside them or when the 2 sides chemicals reach the reaction is fire. Other times it’s just straight fire from the inside

Mason Schutz

Oh my god I didn’t realize what next episode was. This entire second half of the season is nonstop insanity. I would pay for you guys to wear one of those heart rate monitor things… 😭😂

Shadow

If burnt up close I bet the oil/spit makes the fire kinda sticky like napalm. Where’s if not super close it would burn up more and just be flames

Niffol

I definitely recommend reading the books, even with the wait for new books. I watched season 1 first because i have 0 imagination and needed faces for the book, however since then I've seen book versions of characters drawn by pros, and i usually picture those now.

Jaqen H'ghar

FINALLY I GET TO RANT WHY THE FIRE SPREADS SO FAST. Okay so, keeping it "short" (its not gonna be short), those braziers for fire not only had insane kindling in it but also a great amount of oil in order to maintain the flames throughout the night. In general, braziers were made to retain heat and protect the fire as to not let it go out or get out of control. They are honestly pretty fucking hot. So once Daenerys knocks over the flames, she's literally knocking hot, lit oil (typically animal fat) and kindling all over a place that has hay, wood, and possibly dried manure (horses) which are also incredibly flammable. While the fireball/firepoof that happens when she initially knocks over the brazier probably isn't realistic (who cares, cinema), the speed of the fire consuming and moving through that building is. Fire, in general, moves so fast that it is actually scary and a lot of people don't realize this. I beg everyone to do a fire safety video if you do not know this. A fire can burn down an entire building in 10 minutes, its fucking terrifying. Anyways, I know that's a part that gets critiqued and I wanted to present my defense. :) It's one of my favorite scenes of Daenerys- such a fucking power move.

Nomaan

And the fact that it’s just very dry so easier to catch fire

Nomaan

The one with 3 letters and some 🤷‍♂️+ =

kami

This is where I stopped liking Tyrion, accepting that slavery continues is just a very stupid decision

TheSauceGuy

I forgot that both Aliser Thorne and Jon Snow say "I fought, and I lost."

Amna 🍉

Tyrion was really not cooking in that scene, "i grew richer than all of you" is really not the slay he thought it was

Fatipapi

"dragon is like.. the ultimate form of horse" 😂😂😂 i love that

TheSauceGuy

I won't vouch for Robin Arryn's skills as an archer, but shooting with both eyes open is often preferable unless you have trouble focusing with your dominant eye.

Niffol

I do not think that was good writing for danys fire. You just burned down 100,000 dothrakis most holy sacred place, their religious hermitage. Why would all 100k bow before you. Some sure, slaves, disgruntled, just people prone to fanaticism, but alot more would call her a witch, because the dothraki are superstitious people as we saw in previous seasons. And after that they would either kill her and/or start infighting and she escapes in the fray. Drogon showing up would be much more threatening, and also dothraki only follow those who can ride and are powerful. Whats more powerful than RIDING a DRAGON?

Fatipapi

"a dragon is the only thing that flies" hahaha birds just stopped existing i guess

bateman bookworm

The dothraki follow power, and she just killed all the khals without using weapons. So to me it’s believable but i see why you feel that way. You need to turn a blind eye these last few seasons to a lot of decisions

DerekSniper30

John's sword is called "Long Claw"

TheSauceGuy

After the High Sparrow said " and I saw it with perfect clarity," I looked up to see the Geks out of focus lol.

Scinaps

Discussion in the last 5mins is sus.

Amna 🍉

Mckay being a Sansa stan makes me really happy

lola

I’m glad Cannon was as hyped as a lot of were with the first Stark reunion! Sansa and Jon always bring tears to my eyes… the fact that they were the least close growing up only to need each other more than anything. Sansa gets to feel protected/safe and Jon gets to feel supported/confident in his role as son of the last true warden of the north. 🥹

Branflakes

Dany is the baddest in the show, change my mind (you can't).

Alex

Jack stared into my soul after that “should have been born a dothraki” line 💀 27:43

TheSauceGuy

Am I the only one who dislikes how quickly that building caught on fire from that lol? If someone happened to slip and hit the brazier, would it just burn the entire building down within a minute? I feel like they could've just had Jorah and Daario light the building from the outside considering they killed the guards and locked everyone in. Also, I'm not a fan of Dany being fireproof in the show, but I guess if there was ANY Targaryen to be fireproof, it'd probably be her.

TheSauceGuy

I think it's important to mention that Aegon never got Dorne to bend the knee and even by the time of House of the Dragon, Dorne still had not become an official part of the Seven Kingdoms. There were wars against the Dornish and it was a marriage that officially brought Dorne into the Seven Kingdoms, rather than fighting.

A_Daddy Daichi

On my way home to watch this episode & cry

A_Daddy Daichi

Jon & Sansa’s reunion will always get me. Family finally being together again 🥹

Kamina 1

Man I'm so happy for Cannon man. Guy has been taking the shift the hardest in these reactions. Glad to see that spark in his eyes come back 🥲

Ophelia

DAENERYS THE MOTHER OF DRAGONS ‼️ THE UNBURNT ‼️ KHALEESI OF THE GREAT GRASS SEA ‼️ BREAKER OF CHAINS ‼️ THE GOAT ‼️ MY QUEEN ‼️

Kare

There shouldn’t be anything to hate tbh the way she acts is 100% justified

Kare

Yupp totally agree! And also imagine how much worse they may be treated, now that there’s a deadline…

Taylor

After each time Danny burned in the books, she actually DID come out bald. But they decided to write that bit out for the TV series...

Melczech

It's fantasy!! It has dragons, walking dead men, people who can change their face, and a fireproof woman. Why are some people so freakin critical about details? SMH They get so bent out of shape, because something doesn't make sense, and I'm just over here enjoying the ride and the escape from reality for a hour or so.

Bean

Jack tweakin when he says sansa was supposed to marry robin, she's literally married to ramsay

Enma

Sorry for the rant, but this shit is pissing me off. I like Tyrion; he’s my favorite character on the show. He’s very knowledgeable and clever. How did he come up with such a shit plan? I really hope he’s still working on it behind the scenes and is just giving the masters something to keep them satisfied and halt their support for the Sons of the Harpy in the meantime. If not, then wtf are we doing here brother? Seven years to end slavery without a transitional plan, without any reform to prevent other forms of exploitation or the potential return of slavery because the system is so dependent on it. And compensating slave owners for their "losses", also no punishment for the slavers, masters, and traders?? At least make a threat about being burnt alive by a dragon or something. And the argument about tradition from the slavers is just bullshit. Traditions and culture should not justify the continuation of slavery. Tradition and culture are multifaceted and are constantly and adaptively evolving as time goes on, so losing this "tradition" will be later replaced with something else (hopefully with something more positive and less dehumanizing). This is merely an attempt by the ruling class to rationalize and maintain their power and wealth. They want to preserve the status quo and will do whatever it takes to protect their interests. This includes attacking Daenerys or anyone who seeks to abolish slavery from every angle they can. One major angle is the claim of preserving tradition and cultural identity. This propaganda can be used to convince the common people and even slaves that Daenerys is out to destroy their homes and way of life. Another tactic is funding insurgency groups like the Sons of the Harpy, who sabotage, terrorize, and disrupt since Daenerys arrived. As a side note, Brig mentioned that some former slaves express a desire to continue being slaves. In my opinion, though it might seem harsh, this request must be disregarded. These individuals have been institutionalized and conditioned to believe they have no other options and that their only purpose is their former role as slaves. Allowing them to continue being a slave would only perpetuate a form of slavery under a different guise, with the masters continuing to benefit from oppression.

jay

“give him grayscale!” is CRAZY 😭

Caraxes🐐DT

Saying this cuz he was brought back to life? Because beric don’t got royal blood I just always took it as the lord of light needing them

NoneOfYourBeeswax

So you're saying Ned had sex with a royal then brought the resultant child to grow up as a bastard in Winterfell?

NoneOfYourBeeswax

The way dragons make fire is clearly evident in seasons 7 & 8 of GoT; In HotD it is not evident, as the episode about the dragonseeds shows Vermithor just hurling fire from his throat, just as they all do in that show.

NoneOfYourBeeswax

Haven't you heard? "Birds aren't real"! (This is where bats and insects enter the chat I guess...)

Nomaan

I think her hair singes off when she rides Drogon for the first time as well

Amna 🍉

Actually, book wise I think he's right. I'm pretty sure in the show Robin says he's suppose to marry her

Amna 🍉

Just as much? Nooope. While Jon does follow some of the prophecy, Dany follows it to a tea. She fulfills the prophecy in the first book, before the prophecy is even revealed to us. While I think is Daenerys, I think Jon will play a part in it too. Just not as big as her

Leo

Where is sean man? Comment section is boring without him 🥲.

Anna J

No she doesn't lol her entire arc is getting the iron throne because "she thinks it is her right" and joins the real fight near the end, only because the real PTWP convinces her to join. You're just incredibly biased.

Anna J

And why do you have to insinuate your bias towards them, just let them make up their own theories and think what they want to think. You posted like 5 troll comments about PTWP in the show, jesus just let them watch the show how they want.

Nomaan

Her entire arc is not about the iron throne in the books😭 yes she is going for the throne but currently her goal is liberation of slavers bay

Anna J

"Currently". You know that means temporary, right? It also has nothing to do with the prophecy, not to mention the "liberation" is doing so well in the books that after she left Astapor the city descended to chaos and people started eating each other and commiting mass suicide. Chile, anyway...

Caraxes🐐DT

It’s way better without him doing all that here lol he prolly gone cuz they enjoying the season so far 🤣

Leo

It's fun bro. If he is here comment section will be active. We trigger him and he triggers us.

Amna 🍉

They're not troll comments lol. I'm genuinely just giving them more info bc the show did a bad job regarding anything with prophecy

Jenny D

Sansa's path is slightly different in the book. But we didn't get far into it. I'm wondering how things differ if he finishes the book

Jenny D

Long claw is the sword name

Caraxes🐐DT

We only know one Targaryen woman at the time and she was pregnant with dany so idk what’s going on 🤣

Caraxes🐐DT

Bruh you just tweaking both literally got just as much evidence as the other nobody is confirmed to be the prince that was promised not dany or Jon lol so stop acting like somebody thinking Jon is the prince that’s promised is wrong….we get you like dany more

Caraxes🐐DT

But there’s spoilers so obviously we can’t get into everything so making it seem like one is more than the other is wild to me especially when both got just as much evidence as the other no matter if you want to deny it or not especially in the books

Matt Haloostock

I'm not the scenes biggest fan but I'm not really a hater either. I don't like the idea that you should just turn a blind eye to mediocre writing when the early seasons of game of thrones were the opposite of that.

darist

Honestly I didn't mind her being fireproof before, but now with HoTD and all the Targaryens we see in that show it feels really odd with her being fireproof

Meri Gjelaj

Is it too much to ask for 6x5 today?🙏🏻

Sean Carroll

Didnt have time to make a comment for episode 3 so doing it here and then another comment for episode 4 Overall episode 3 was a fairly good ep. I reckon its a 7/10 Jon: 3 episodes in a row with cock jokes with Tormund this time being the deliverer, is this what Game of thrones comedy has become? Sam: Why is Sam bringing Gilly to Horn Hill? He said before that he will protect Gilly and "wherever you go, I go to", considering how much his father hates wildlings it makes no sense for Sam to consider bringing her there, not to mention the fact his father already threated Sam's life if he ever saw him again, from his point of view Sam has broken his vows and taken a wildling lover. Does Sam really think his father will take kindly to this? On another note, Sam's and Gilly's relationship feels so uninteresting, there is no romantic love there and yet we are supposed to think there is. Bran: This is a great scene, seeing Arthur Dayne in action was epic, only small gripe is that 1 vs 4 is always going to be hard to film in a non-goofy way, if you compare it with the barriston fight scene though it is done a lot better. Also im not a fan of the writing surrounding the three eyed raven taking Bran out of the vision just before the reveal that we will eventually see. Why did the 3 eyed raven take bran into the vision if not for that? Did he just want Bran to see his father have a cool fight. This is an annoying writing issue just to keep us in suspense for the big reveal. Dany: Genuinely dont care about this storyline at all, can you just hurry up and go to westeros already Varys: Great scene, bringing Varys back to his best. Tyrion: Remember when Tyrion used to be the most interesting and witty character in the show? Tyrion's character regression began in season 6, he has become a shell of his former self, why are we getting a 3 minute filler scene where Tyrion tries to play a game with Missandei and Greyworm alongside him trying to convince them to drink alcohol. What purpose does this scene serve at all? High sparrow: This storyline continues to be completely boring and uninteresting, does anyone actually enjoy this storyline? Arya: what was the point of Arya's blind arc if she was given her sight back in 3 eps? All she did was live on the streets getting beaten up. This scene is ok but the goofy training montage is a bit weird considering there is no point to fighting blind (i know what they are trying to setup and no it is not good). Again this storyline continues to be a mess considering no one knows what the purpose of her training actually means. Ramsay: A good scene with some actual funny comedy from Umber, Ramsay continues to be a monster which is always fun even if horrible Execution scene: Why didnt Jon hang the other 10 men who helped in his killing, oh well doesnt really matter, still a scene done really well. Good ep but nothing special

Sean Carroll

Ep 4 thoughts: again, not a bad episode but still has some big issues, 5.5/10 Jon: The reunion between jon and sansa is handled fantastically well (even if it doesnt make sense for Ramsay not to have sent more soldiers to chase after her or cut her off after Karstark told him they found his soldiers on their way to Winterfell). Littlefinger: now that he has gotten the Vale on his side to join the fight and save Sansa, looks like Jon can rely on these soldiers to help him against Ramsay... Right... RIGHT????? I am going to talk about this one more as the season progresses because it is fundamentally one of the worst mistakes in the season. Tyrion: The rapid drop in Tyrion as a character continues, first of all he compares his experience as a slave with Missandei which is just the peak of disrespect. He had all the power in the world growing up and after a few days/weeks being held captive he tries to compare with Missandei, god what has happened to my boy. Then we have Tyrion try to negotiate with the masters... why? The masters are directly involved in 1. the burning of Dany's ships, 2. the attack in the pits, 3. the murder of barriston. Why arent they hostile toward the masters who clearly are not going to go ahead with Tyrion's plan at all. If Tyrion doesnt even explain the way he will enforce penalties against the masters for continuing to practice slavery then by what reason do the masters have to go along with his plan? The masters also say they want Dany to leave...... well then why did you burn her ships??? Bruh the writing is awful. Dany: Can you please hurry up and go to westeros already, im falling asleep at this stage. High sparrow: I dont care about the high Sparrow and his dumb story, can Tommen hurry up and grow some balls and kill them already so we dont have to go through this awful storyline any further. Matter of fact the kings landing storyline used to be peak GOT and now it is possibly the worst story alongside Arya and Dany/Mereen. Olenna continues to be the funniest character in the series every time she appears which is great. Theon: Great scene, not much to say, Theon continues to be the best character in the series Ramsay: again Ramsay being a monster is always horrible/fun to watch. Oshas death however is extremely underwhelming for such a character who was solid in the first 3 seasons The wall: now that there main goal is to defeat Ramsay, they have to find men for their army, obviously we have wildlings. Why didnt Sansa mention the Vale considering littlefinger is on her side... oh wait David and Dan are trying to set something up, I bet its going to be genius ;) Dany: Another cringe Dany victory scene, why did the Dothraki just let her walk around the temple and knock over the fire? I guess the Dothraki understand how fire works and didnt think it would spread at the speed that it did and tear the entire place apart in about 10 seconds... People love this Dany scene but there is literally no logic to it. Fire doesnt work that way, it doesn spread at extreme speeds like that. Not to mention they are in an earth and stone temple so fire shouldnt even work to any real effect. Next, the Dothraki are literally the most brave men in the world, i understand that fire is both dangerous and scary but if any people wouldnt be afraid of it it would be the dothraki, why didnt they just kill Dany considering the fire wasnt hiding her or keeping her safe. Why do they just stand there? Im also torn between whether the dothraki bowing to her makes sense, obviously they respect the strong but dont they also hate magic so wouldnt dany coming out of the fire unscathed be considered magic in their eyes, overall it doesnt make a lot of sense. An ok episode but definitely nothing special

Nomaan

Ok genuine question do u not get tired of hating on Dany for every single thing she does? But not only that, u do it here and then u comment the same stuff on their YouTube videos😂 it’s just funny imo😭

Sean Carroll

No the way Sansa acts from this point on results in a deus ex machina writing flaw that endangers the entire operation

Daenerys Targaryen

David Lightbringer just dropped a video about this. Check it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uh1pNLTdZhk

Mason Schutz

@Sean, and despite your gripes, guess what? This season still contains the 2 highest rated episodes of the entire series (tied with the red wedding) which happens back to back. If you wanna be mad, feel free. Try not to pop a blood vessel!

Sean Carroll

Oh trust me I have not left, I will be here pointing out errors until the end of the show

Sean Carroll

Vastly different, isn’t she still with little finger? All I know is she wasn’t with Ramsay because George would never have little finger do that

Sean Carroll

I am indefatigable. I could never get invested in anything outside Westeros (except Jorah) so every time we turn to her story I just immediately get uninterested. I also find her incredibly difficult to take seriously. She is basically useless as a fighter and then all of a sudden she has a badass moment burning down a building. It’s hard to find interest in characters that can’t back up anything.

Jenny D

She's at the Vale and he's going back and forth I believe between the Vale, kings landing, etc.

Ophelia

Loser who has no life (Sean) begone spray ™ 💨💨💨

Clegane (GOT Season 1-8 enjoyer)

For me its not that bad. I mean the characters arent supposed to make smart or logical decisions every time - Me thinking this way is probably why i enjoy the show up to 8x3. Yes Dany should be across the narrow sea claiming dragonstone and petitioning houses that were loyal to her father. Yes, the high sparrow is stupid but tommen is a kid, hes weak, and he is impressionable - the quality all kids possess, they humanize many characters in the show and add in real life flaws. Cersei has been broken and they all know if anything is done to the faith militant kings landing there will be extreme riots - which typically dont end well. Not to mention they have margery and loras. For sansa not to tell john. I agree that pisses me off, but think about it. Littlefinger last abandoned Sansa with Ramsay. Littlefinger only cares about Sansa and her title, Jon adds a complication to the mix. He knows he must protect Sansa and he knows littlefinger is a slimeball. Sansa feels betrayed by littlefinger and understands his motives even though he may not say it outloud. What frustrates me is that people know white walkers and witches are real but can believe a fire spreading quickly with oil in a hut mad out of stone, grass, and mud/clay. Grass ignites, especially with oil and then the stone heats and cooks like a pizza oven.

Nomaan

He needs to put Dany hater in his name so we just know not to take anything he says seriously 😭 he’s mad she’s clearly popular and a favourite to this day

Nomaan

I think regardless of HOTD she is supposed to be very different to them. Like her ancestors even dreamed about the return of dragons so she’s special for a reason so I don’t mind her being fireproof even tho it’s a one off thing in the books

Shadow

I think it’s a bit of both. There’s definitely scenes of vermthor using fire and it not coming straight from in his throat. Like the side profile scene right after he pushes a certain dragonseed off the cliff. They are inconsistent with it in both shows. Just depends on what effect they want imo. That why I said heat or fire could coming from inside. Cuz at times it it’s straight out the throat and other times it’s clear the flames start after. Thats why it’s easier to say “magic”

Sean Carroll

Oh yes I’m mad that a tv character that has no actual bearing on anything in my life is popular No I simply just find her cringe, outside of got viewings I don’t think about it or any characters anymore

Sean Carroll

One of those episodes is filled with flaws by the way, it’s a satisfying episode and fun if you turn your brain off but the logic is out the window in that episode. It is by far the most overhyped episode in got for a reason

Mason Schutz

@Sean, out of curiosity, is watching this series like a punishment you gave yourself? Like, is this a “I hate water, so let me sit on a rowboat in the middle of the ocean” situation? You’ve got an interesting kink. Being around things you “hate” in order to tell others you “hate” it to me just shows how much you like it rather than hate it.

JAY

EDIT: looks like comment has been deleted now. Should be safe. 🤞🏻 Geks tread carefully there are SPOILERS ahead in this comment section as of right now.

Shadow

Yea I bet u can find my comment on it lol. He said he’s making another one for the other one to. A favorite yt

JAY

Specifically, avoid Sean’s comments & threads. He’s escalated to blatant spoiling 🥲

Caraxes🐐DT

If that’s the case you would recognize his hints as well but you literally only bring up dany and try to discredit Jon from being it lol but aye you got it 🤷🏾‍♂️

Meri Gjelaj

Honestly at this point they need to stop reading the comments all together. People are just too negative and it 100% changes the way they view the show. Plus the spoiling is just pure insanity, how can people be SO dumb?

NoneOfYourBeeswax

I think by now they must have learned that they need to give a body swerve to anything posted by Sean.

TheSauceGuy

It's odd if you have any background information on Targaryens or the books. The books are one thing, but the fact that seemingly every other Targaryen before her has not been fireproof does make her an unexplained anomaly.

TheSauceGuy

I think it makes her feel more special than she maybe should. She is potentially special in terms of prophecy, but I feel like she shouldn't be so biologically/physically different in this way.

Caraxes🐐DT

Yes but she only did that once in the books and people really think she’s fireproof lol seems cheap imo but great scene regardless

Amna 🍉

Bc i personally believe she's tptwp, what does that have to do with which character I like💀 damn I was just giving the boys more info since the show fumbled that

Patrick

There's no way they are emotionally ready for what lies ahead

Sean Carroll

You shouldn’t be on this Patreon watching got considering you are a child

Sean Carroll

I enjoy the show for the first 4 seasons, there are aspects of the last 4 seasons I enjoy but not a lot. I am here because I enjoy the reaction from the geks who I’ve supported since aot days. This is my first got rewatch for about 3 years. Me pointing out big mistakes with the show doesn’t mean I need to avoid the show

Leo

Sean, you can point errors in this season. some people will oppose you. For 7-8 seasons, everyone agrees with you.

Mason Schutz

@Sean, you have done nothing but focus on the flaws of the show since they started Season 5. You even went out of your way to name yourself ‘Sean (GoT Season 5-8 hater)’ just to make your feelings known quite literally every single time you interact with the comment section. Seeing you is the equivalent of sitting next to a crying baby at a movie theater or sitting next to a manga reader complaining that every single panel isn’t adapted 1:1 as someone else tries to watch an episode for the first time. It’s gross, disruptive, and counterproductive to the people you say you enjoy watching. Imagine them enjoying an episode so much and being excited to see how other people enjoyed it just as much as they did just to see you saying “actually, this is bad and if you enjoyed it then you must have turned your brain off.” Rather than let these guys enjoy their time without seeing your constant negativity for literal months, you choose to make it your entire identity, “Sean (got season 5-8 hater)”. That’s why people see you as a bully, but you wear it like a badge of honor. You’re like one of those mean high school girls that think being called a bitch is a compliment. It’s embarrassing.

Caraxes🐐DT

Bruh you literally put something that don’t happen until season 7 and you literally named the people and said it happens in SEASON 7 in your comment lmao are you deadass right now?

Caraxes🐐DT

Giving them more info while denying Jon importance? Yea sure fam act like you don’t know what you doing lmfao you been doing it since season 5 when cannon kept calling him the prince that was promised but whatever 🤣🤣

Sean Carroll

I called myself that as more of a meme than anything serious. It’s just poking fun, it’s not that serious at all. I am not taking away the enjoyment from the geks at all by pointing out my issues with the show. You can see they are still clearly enjoying themselves. I do anticipate they will have a lot of issues when season 7 begins however

Sean Carroll

I have just gone back through this comment section and triple checked all my comments and see that I have not spoiled a single thing referring to season 7. Clearly you are creating an imaginary issue

Caraxes🐐DT

Bruh they clearly deleted the comment lmfao you acting like you can’t remember is hilarious tho

Mason Schutz

How they feel later down the line is up to them. They don’t need you to prep them to hate something before they even get to watch it. Let them come to their own conclusions naturally. They don’t need you hissing in their ear every episode upload trying to tell them how bad something is that they found enjoyable. The way you have been going about expressing your disgust for the second half of the series to a group of people who haven’t even finished the series isn’t helpful, nor is it something a person who enjoys their content should be doing. It can sour an experience.

emma.bean

i saw the comment... the fact that you dont remember it is concerning.. you literally said "i must have forgot in season 7 when they... " and then proceeded to type something that happens in season 7 (WHICH IS CLEARLY A SPOILER AS THEY HAVENT SEEN IT YET) with names of characters and everything. hello?

emma.bean

#1: tormund is a wilding that previously bragged about having sex with a bear and has talked about sex throughout the series. Makes perfect sense here for him to make a cock joke to Jon. it was bros trolling wholesomely. Jon laughed. So did I. dont project your tyrion disappointment here. i loved this whole moment between jon and his friends. #2: sam is bringing gilly to horn hill because, as he said in a previous episode, the citadel doesn’t admit women and he doesn’t have Jon or maester aemon to help him bend the rules. He’s obviously not going to tell his father that gilly is a wildling because.. thats obvious so he will tell her shes someone he met in the north. House Tarley isn’t in the north and they dont have the kind of honor/strictness about the nights watch that the northmen have. He also says that his mother and sister are kind. They will take gilly and her baby in, bastard or not, as their grandson, as far as we know. He obviously knows his father, because he is his father, and he knows he won’t turn them away in front of his mother. #3 : the choreography was great in this. Didnt read goofy to me at all. These are honorable northmen, clearly outnumbering him, so they aren’t going to stab him in the back or take cheap shots… until it is the only option and Howland reed does do that, but even then you can see on Neds face he was disgusted by it. he himself probably would not have done that. 3eyedRaven took him out of the vision when it was time for him to go. bran is new to this. There are limits. He took him out suddenly in 6x2 as well so that checks out. Hes said multiple times that he cant be in too long or he “will never return”. #4 Dany.. I do not love Dany.. but I also dont hate her like you do.. this storyline here to me, is one of her more interesting. Back to where she started. There is symbolism and meaning in that. The Dothraki are a huge part of her and who she is and how she came to be. It’s interesting her being back here where she essentially where her character started. #5: Tyrion has left his homeland, his comfort zone. He is in an entirely different country serving a queen he hardly knows. politics in Westeros are very different from slavers bay. They are stuck in Meereen waiting for Dany There isn’t much to show, I like the writing for the scene with him greyworm and missandei. It’s old Tyrion (he literally did this same thing when he met shae in season 2) but in a new environment that he doesn’t understand. of course It’s gonna be awkward and not the same. Thats consistent with his character imo, and not a bad scene. These scenes essentially exist because they have to show Meereen and from a writing standpoint, I think the Tyrion stuff, however stagnant, is better than anything else in Meereen up to this point. #6 I do not love the high sparrow stuff, but you cant blame it on bad writing. again, if you dont like the storyline, fine. But Tbh the high sparrow dialogue is beautifully written. #7 Arya. I never understand people saying Aryas blind arc is pointless… she is training. We dont have to understand everything at this point in time and there is stuff to discuss later.. but being able to tap into your other senses and learn how to fight without your sight is insanely valid?? Shes is here training to be a high level assassin. Do you really not think if you can learn to do something without your sight that you wouldn’t be ultimately better at that thing when you get your sight back?? Idk that to me was obvious… #8 the execution.. 6 ppl stabbed Jon.. the others were there, yes, but they didnt actively stab him. and they could have plead mercy when he was RISEN FROM THE DEAD and knowing Jon he would have pardoned that they just stood there while he was murdered. Jons a forgiving guy but he has to kill the ones that actually stabbed him. Maybe the other two that stabbed were the ones that died when the wildlings came? Idk who cares really. This amazing scene wasn’t going to happen if he had to get rid of 10 men. ITS A TV SHOW.

Leo

Wow, now comment section is looking beautiful.

Sean Carroll

Oh now I remember. Didn’t I separate the lines of the comment so the guys wouldn’t see it? If not then I apologise

Jessica

I think it’s better to not spoil anything even if you separate. And don’t hint at things happening because that’s also kind of spoiling, if you hint that a characters storyline is going to shit or them not doing this or that you’re basically spoiling it as well so just write whatever your thoughts are on the actual episode that has been posted

Sean Carroll

1. I actually like the Jon moment between him and his friends especially ed, I’m just commenting on the fact that d and d are now relying on cock jokes as their idea of comedy. 3 episodes in a row is ridiculous 2. Do you really think Sam’s mother and sister have any power over his father if he finds out she is a wildling, he would instantly kill gilly and her baby and Sam knows that. Yes I understand the citadels rules so why doesn’t Sam simply organise accomodation for her and the baby near the citadel where he can go home every evening. There are ways around this that don’t require putting her and the baby in danger with his father. 3. The fact that you say they wouldn’t take cheap shots against the greatest swordsman they’ve ever known in a full scale war with Ned’s ****** on the line just shows you don’t know much about desperation in war time. The 3 eyed raven could have taken bran out earlier then the moment that bran is about to get the reveal, this is clearly d and d trying to give us suspense until the actual reveal happens. The 3 eyed raven says this but there is no indication in the show that bran would drown in these memories. Why didn’t the 3 eyed raven take bran back to the moment of the reveal instead of the fight beforehand? The 3 eyed raven story doesn’t make sense if you really think about it 4. No argument against your Dany thoughts, the scene is fine, I just can’t stand the storyline 5. The difference between the Tyrion drinking scenes is in season 1 with bronn and Shae it resulted in tyrions confession about tysha. In this scene it feels like a deleted/filler scene that serves no actual purpose. Mereen is just a bad story in general, Tyrion doesn’t improve it, actually the writing surrounding it from 6x1 - 6x4 shows that it’s gotten worse as a storyline. 6. I never said the high sparrow is bad writing in this first comment, so you are putting words in my mouth. It’s just simply an uninteresting storyline that I believe has no actual weight in the grand scheme of things. I will say that there is an aspect of bad writing from the perspective of tommen, if he simply just ordered his soldiers to kill them then this storyline would be done, Joffrey would have wiped them out immediately and therefore this is the issue in the writing. I can’t take this storyline seriously because they shouldn’t have any power if a competent ruler was in place, Joffrey wasn’t competent but he wouldn’t let this continue, especially if they took Margary from him. 7. I have major issues with the Arya storyline which I can’t really say just yet, from what we’ve seen though the faceless man arc doesn’t make a lot of sense because it is constantly shrouded in confusion. No one knows what is actually going on because d and d didn’t know how to write it. Also do you think that one montage of Arya training blind in what is probably only a few days would make her one of the most dangerous assassins in the world… because it absolutely should not… but again we will talk about this later 8. I already said this execution scene was done well, I doubt Jon would let men who were involved in his death, no matter the involvement free.

emma.bean

#1 Sansa/brienne and crew have horses same as any bolton hunters. Even if he sent men after them at a certain point they are closer to the wall than they are to winterfell and Sansa & crew are probably riding insane amounts and resting very little. They wouldn’t catch them even if he sent them. “Cut her off” they are traveling the same path… from winterfell north. There is no randomly cutting them off out of no where… ?? #2 Little finger is a known SNAKE. He gave Sansa to the Boltons why would she trust him??? #3 Tryion saying he was a slave and understands what the means was literally real, classic “boy who grew up privileged and experienced a piece of it” situation.. it’s so real. It happens. Sorry for Tyrion Stans but your boy is privileged? And he doesn’t quite understand fully and spoke out of turn. It’s a real human thing that comes to pass. Sorry it sucks but it makes sense for his character as a Lannister raised in Westeros. Part 2: He is negotiating ultimately to try to put an immediate pause on the sons of the harpy attacks. His tactics are very Westerosi… again, he is out of his element. he does not have much power here.. he is a very very new advisor to Dany… Grey worm & Missandei know Dany would never agree to this, but tyrion is doing what he knows to try to secure some kind of peace to buy time. The masters have the other cities of slavers bay plus Volantis on their side funding the sons of the harpy in Meereen, working against her at this point. They gave her the chance to leave on her ships. Now they want to destroy her and they believe they can so that is why they burn her ships. #4 you did “Dany can you move on im falling asleep” and then later wrote out a whole section to Dany so I will address that later LOL #5 again, if you dont like the sparrow stuff, I cant blame you because sometimes I feel the same, BUT his dialogue is well written. And the Margaery and Loras stuff is great.. sets up a lot actually if you can tap into deeper things and get past the hatred. #6 Theon, I agree. Great scene. Theon is in my top 5 characters. #7 not sure what more you wanted from Oshas death. She was a real one, in an impossible situation. She tried til the end to protect Rickon and kill Ramsay but he was a step ahead. Tragic and realistic. #8 why would Sansa mention little finger😭. You’re probably one of those people that was saying “why would little finger give Sansa to the boltons he loves her” in season 5… like buddies.. come on. Littlefinger is a Narcissist. Google it for details. There is no part of me that was ever surprised by what little finger did to Sansa and there is not part of my that questions why Sansa wouldn’t trust him?? Like hello? Jon would never agree to accept help from him after what he did to Sansa. If you think that you dont understand Jons character very well. He is basically ned reincarnated. Would ned accept help from Cersei in this situation? Absolutely not. He would probably rather die. Especially because Sansa tells him about their uncle’s army in riverrun. Obviously that is the better choice for them to connect with?? #9 the khals let her walk around because there are like 8-10 of them and one of her… what? Were they supposed to foresee her lighting the place on fire?? She has no weapons, she is not a threat to them in their eyes. The bowls Dany touches are akin to old timey fire bowls. They likely had animal fat or some kind of oil/ accelerant burning in the basin to keep them lit. You think people are putting new logs on all those fires regularly?? no, its oil. So when she knocks it over the oil/accelerant spills out. Also google images of the temples of the dosh khaleen. or go back to earlier seasons and look at it when Drogo and them are there. It is literally made of thin, dry ass sticks banded together to make panels.. and the roof is like a mound of dried grass. have you ever seen a house fire??? A modern house, today, can be engulfed in 5 minutes (google it).. you think hut made of dry wood and grass in a dry desert isn’t going to light up that fast?? Not a stretch at all by tv/movie standards. A great episode of television

Nomaan

U are mad that she’s popular that’s why u comment the same thing continuously about her? If u don’t like her u could just… ignore? Ur a grown ass man from the profile pic so I don’t think u can comment on anyone else’s age or if they have kids👍

Nomaan

The witch was not the reason for Dany being fireproof 😭

Amna 🍉

Look at my original comment, i was legit giving them more info🤦🏽‍♀️. I've commented twice about tptwp, this episode and the last I think. That's it. Ya'll need to chill just bc somebody has a different opinion

Ophelia

@sean thank you for the feedback I will return to the laboratory to work on the Sean begone ™ spray, the formula isn’t strong enough yet

Caraxes🐐DT

Not true season 7 wasn’t bad to me and literally every season got errors lol not just the later seasons

Tokyo Ghoul Supremacist

I cannot understand your criticism of the Tommem writing. You're either confusing personal dislike for bad writing (which isn't how writing works) or you just don't understand the show. Tommen not attacking the Sparrows is the entire thematic point of the storyline. Having him wipe out the sparrows there might be more interesting from visual angle, but it would be atrocious storytelling. His conflict is what makes the entire arc somewhat interesting The Arthur Dayne fight was actually really well done cause if you watch it, he blocks attacks from behind a couple times and maneuvers so that they're all in front of him. He clearly accounts for the fact that they might try to attack him from behind. Also, the Tyrion scene was strange, but the point of it (presumably) was to show how he has a hard time connecting to or understanding the culture of Meereen and the Unsullied

lola

Yes 😭 they’re only doing 3 a week… come back Tuesday lol

Leo

I just checked the ratings of season 7. Wow, just outstanding. I think people started disliking it after season 8.

NoneOfYourBeeswax

For all the writing defects (of which there are many), Season seven of GoT is a cinematic spectacle.

NoneOfYourBeeswax

It refers to whoever the writer chooses it to. Or would have, if the writer hadn't abandoned the work for the fleshpots of TVwoodland and the allure of the almighty $$$

NoneOfYourBeeswax

Interesting observation - not so sure about Sansa however; she talks a good game but the last time she showed strength was when she pulled Littlefinger's chestnuts out of the fire with her ad hoc lie about how Lysa Arryn died. Now she mostly berates Jon, who - as usual - has to actually do all the work. I'd also note that while Yara is certainly stronger then Theon, Theon has been stronger than Sansa in the last few episodes.

Nikita M

LOL with all the Lord of Light stuff happening in the story, you'd think Dany's fire would be the least unbelievable thing. If she's fireproof then obviously there's already some form of magic going on in the scene. *Spoilers ahead* ....................................................................................................................................This is speculation since we don't really have clear answers but you could say Jon and Dany are protected by the "Lord of Light" or "Prophecy" or whatever else it may be in order to face the undead later on (based on what their purpose seemed to be considering the ending). Even if you don't believe the fire spreads that fast - I live in California and our wild fires are insane so I do believe it - it's not unbelievable to imagine that that one Khaleesi she told to trust her spread some oil around the place before their meeting or to imagine that magic helped her spread the fire faster because of my previously mentioned point about the Lord of Light. It's just as believable as Jon coming back from the dead or any of the other fantastic event in the story. Last I checked there's a lot of magical things happening so questioning the realism of specific scenes seems pointless.

Isabell

Sean thinks he soooo smart but doesn't even understand that life and people aren't perfect and logical the whole time. People irl make and are allowed to make mistakes and unrational decisions. Just like peolpe in tv shows are allowed to make them. These actions you think are so dumb & illogical are realistic and authentic in real life

Meri Gjelaj

Well since there’s nothing to do until Tuesday…do you guys think GRRM is actually writing Winds of Winter? LOL

Maria

I haven’t even read the books yet😂 but I have more faith in that man than most people. WoW is supposed to be the penultimate book. Im gonna guess it’s the most complicated point in the story. That’s a lot of pressure. This is his last chance to perfectly set everything up before he can execute his ending. If he does get it done, I’d actually bet that he could finish the final book way faster.

Meri Gjelaj

Honestly yeah. For a while I was feeling fine but lately I’ve been seeing a lot of people saying that they don’t even think he’s started it yet and I’m like…wait😀😀 I do feel like WoW will split/break the fandom and perhaps that’s way he’s taking so long…maybe he’s afraid of what the reaction that’s going to be

Agent September 🏴‍☠️

Season 7 is on par with HOTD season 2 imo. Incredible visuals and epic sequences, leaves a bit to be desired in dialogue and plot- especially for book readers

Agent September 🏴‍☠️

Ok why have I actually come to enjoy seans comments. Two thoughts 1. Perhaps the 3 eyed raven was trying to teach bran a lesson about how history is not always as it seems even from the most honorable retellers but didn't think he was ready for the big reveal (he wasn't)? 2. I don't find Tommen's writing to be lacking. You can tell from his conversation with margery about sir pounce that he took a lot of influence from Joffrey's cruelty in trying not to be like him, so when given the choice to violence and inaction it makes sense he would be think what would Joffrey do and then do the opposite. I agree this storyline drags though.

Ben Holmes

Bro send me some of your adderal LMFAO, respect the post thoughj

Caraxes🐐DT

Tuesday,Wednesday and Saturday they said not that long ago so around those times I would say

Leo

Don't talk about S2 HOTD. That is utter scrap. If I don't get sleep I will watch that and sleep will come automatically.

Paul Durbin

Writing that is incongruent with the characters previous actions/personality is bad writing. Lazy writing. No one gives a shit if the characters make poor decisions or act stupidly. Numerous characters have done that since season 1. i.e. Ned Stark. It was true to his character though. But when the writing, that is clearly now left up to D&D, struggles to resemble the same characters from the seasons transcribed from ASOIAF, that's where the issue resides. i.e. post season 4 Tyrion. None of his actions in Essos make sense. Everyone just feels cartoonish at this point. Forced. Pandering. Inauthentic. Caricatures. The world doesn't feel the same. Personally, it's not utterly terrible yet, but it gets progressively worse.

Paul Durbin

He has already written parts of Winds of Winter. You can find chapters completed online. Last book came out 2012. He was pretty hands on with the series which slowed down his writing schedule. But idk where people are getting that he hasn't even started it.

Meri Gjelaj

ITS ALMOST TUESDAY WOOOOOOOOOOOO

Caraxes🐐DT

It’s only right GOT back tomorrow on my birthday plus a lil history and lore video gift for me 👀🤣

TheSauceGuy

I'd imagine it had to do with the blood sacrifice and maybe the bleeding star had something to do with it as well. She is never fireproof in the books and this event was a one time thing, unlike the show.

Caraxes🐐DT

The witch is a reason lmfao she literally has never been shown to be fireproof since but sure

LuvStarburst

binging GOT tonight since i have nothing else going on.

Joel

What? S2 HotD was fine compared to season 7&8 of GoT lol. S2 of HotD wasn't even bad imo

Joel

Wait have you not read the books Sean? If so how do you comment on these disparities with such conviction if you haven't even read the books? That's very weird to me. I like the books a lot more than the show but I still enjoy the show for what it is. A different story. I like ASOIAF better but GoT is still the best fantasy that has ever been on tv, which I'm delighted to have been a part of.

Uros Vesic

Prince that was promised, what a joke

Jem de Jager

lol, I said:”I wish Jon would be King of Westeros.” LITERALLY 0.5 seconds later, Canon wishes the same thing🤣
