You guys kept asking how we were this deep into the story and we are only halfway through the show and yeah the answer is a soft reset haha. It's funny because as good as season 1 is (and it might be the better executed in terms of consistency) it does feel a bit vanilla in comparison to season 2. We really get into the crazier aspects of the show this season and the amount of unnecessary fanservice (for better or worse) is definitely geared up lmao. Most of the "controversial" plot points, like the Euphy incident and this soft reset haven't seemed to bother y'all so I would guess that you guys are going to end up absolutely loving this season when it's all said and done.

If you have the time and you want after watching episode 3-4 of this season you can watch the 5 OVA episodes of Code Geass: Akito the Exiled. The story takes place in E.U(Europia United) and you will know what Suzaku and Lelouch were up to after Zero's defeat.

People just can't shut up for 5 seconds and miss out on getting whatever satisfaction comes with acting like 'I kNoW wHaT yOu dOn'T. Don't tell the boys it's gonna be confusing or whatever. They'll experience it themselves. And before anyone jumps that 'it's not that deep' the boys expressed in this video that they would've preferred to not be told the start of season 2 would be confusing.

I hated it tbh. Code Geass is such a masterpiece for me but the Akito OVA series disappointed me so much I was very upset it didn't reach the bar for me. I wouldn't recommend the guys watching it. The Movie is fine though

Okay but I wanted them to know there are OVAs of Code geass that explore other regions of the world. The story is maybe not exceptional but hey it's good to explore the unknown sometimes on your own.😁 Personnally I liked the focus on the E.U region just because I was curious and the animation in the OVAs is very good. So if they are curious, have the time and if they want to try they can watch it. I don't the story in the OVA eps is complex it's basic but original.

Both animes were out in the same month and year in OCT, 2006 with similar feeling protagonists and antagonists and acquired powers but completely different genre and story and outcomes. Some people only watched one or the other so at the time it was being compared and people checked out both and used "if you liked _ you might also like _" to bring people into either show.

Ah forgot so much about Code Geass, I only watched it once as a teenager and man it really reminds me that anime used to be a lot cooler in general, but in a different way. Shows like this made me like anime in the first place, Gundam Seed had similar vibes overall but the MC wasn't as OG as Lelouch, not even close
