THE HONORED ONE IS HERE this episode was so crazy. One of the most iconic moments in the whole manga. Watching this literally makes us not able to wait for the next arc to start because so far season 2 has just been UNREAL

and about that iconic line - "throughout heaven and earth, I alone am the honored one" was something that was said by buddha when he was born and it's meaning is translated to "there is nothing more precious than I am in this world" so this statement was probably to showcase that the strongest Gojo was born at this moment.

In the end credit scene, you can see geto’s eyes move back and forth almost as if he’s juggling what the right decision is morally, whether to kill the humans who are supporting the death of an innocent girl, or to let them live. However by the end of the conversation, he let’s gojo know that it shouldn’t be done. Currently going into the next episode, geto is emotionally on the brink, and if you caught a particular scene in the intro to episode 1, and some dialogue that occurs in the movie, i think you’ll figure out what pushes him over the edge.

I was worried about how they would explain how Gojo survived but it actually makes sense that it was his true awakening and with that awakening Gojo is a little off now. With this being curses and spirits hope to see Toji again some way. Wish he was sealed instead just so there would always be that idea that Toji is still around somewhere but dude was a monster.

There’s a fan theory that Toji’s worm curse says “mommy” to Geto because it was born of Megumi and Tsumiki’s neglect and abandonment, so it’s stuck in a state of constantly craving parental affection. Pretty depressing if true, but it’s either that or Geto just has motherly vibes, which, honestly that also checks out 😂

I think you are too caught up on Geto being "evil" or "turning bad" and these other shallow terms that you are failing to understand the character. If you keep expecting him to "turn evil", whatever "evil" means then it might never happen... maybe if you look it less black and white it would be enlightning. Cannon & Carter are both partly right about Geto. He sticks to his moral philosophy & he IS a good guy here. BUT this is the first time he’s felt a sliver of doubt in his moral compass. After seeing Riko killed he’s conflicted about the injustice of these people getting no punishment for killing her. Still, I don’t think he’s at the point yet where he’s thinking about genociding all non-sorcerers. He just feels that something is wrong here

MAPPA really gave Toji a romantic death. I thought this would be more violent and Gojo would be crazier based on the manga. The thing about Geto turning from his ideals is that like any person, it doesn’t happen overnight. But, you can clearly see that Toji did plant the seed of hatred at this point. Go back to when Geto called Maki a monkey. This encounter with Toji really screwed him up. Also, not a spoiler, but only 3 characters are currently mentioned to have Heavenly Pact: Toji, Maki and Mechamaru. Yuuji is something else. 😅

For the Heavenly Pact, they explained in S1 Mechamaru had one. His body and limbs are incredibly weak and he is in a constant state of inexplicable pain, and in return he has an insane amount of cursed energy and power to balance out the horrible state of his body. It's basically been explained there are downside and negatives and the universe balances you out with something else somehow.

It seems here's where Geto learns that in order to steal a curse from a sorcerer owner one needs to kill the owner. That's why in JJK0 he knew he needed to kill Yuta in order to obtain Rika

The fact that Megumi hated that name because it's more commonly a female name and blaming his father for not caring, and now knowing that it was because he was a Blessing hits that much harder.

Toji's killer instincts tell him 'Somthing's off', and if it were his usual self he'd just run away. But Gojo is special, he's like a symbol of the Sorcerer Family to Toji, and the desire to prove himself by defeating Gojo trumps the desire to survive. That's why Geto said on his deathbed that he still had pride and resentment.

Toji didn't give up his wife and child to defeat Gojo, instead…… *Spoiler* *Spoiler* *Spoiler* because of his first wife's death, he reverted to not respecting himself or others, and he has a self-destructive streak in him. Gege(the author) confirmed that Megumi's biological mother actually helped Toji change his ways. He stopped gambling and hunting sorcerers and it's likely her influence stopped Toji from taking revenge on the Zenin clan. However, after her death, Toji became a deadbeat again, and his two main sources of income were selling his body to be supported by women and working as a killer. The timeline is as below: ①Born in Zenin clan without cursed energy - Discriminated against for years - Scarred on mouth ②Leave the Zenin clan - Gambling - Be a professional "kept man" ③Meet Megumi's biological mom - Fell in love - Be a good guy - They had Megumi - Toji Named him Megumi (惠 means Blessing) - Megumi's mom died - Gambling - Be a professional "kept man" - sell Megumi to the Zenin clan ④ Meet Tsumiki's biological mom who is rich and already had Tsumiki - Join the Fushiguro family and change his family name to Fushiguro - Leave before Megumi starts elementary school ⑤ Accept the mission - Killed by Gojo Satoru
