Furlough (Patreon)

It was nice to get outdoors after being locked up for so long. To anyone passing by we looked just like any other students. But we knew. Perhaps these were technically our clothes, but they didn’t sit right anymore, and I’m not talking about being shaved smooth. The feeling that this isn’t you anymore, that you don’t belong. I suppose that is why they let us out for the day. They knew we would be back.
