tom. i have two thoughts. 1. you GOTTA let yourself sleep man. you're not "an adult" you're "an adult exhausted to the point where you are sleeping through a device that is basically designed to torture you awake." 2. psychosis is, extremely simplified, rem sleep while waking. just watch yourself with that waking life bleeding into dreams unless that's like. super super normal for you. bodies need sleep, and by god they will fucking get it.

I couldn’t disagree more about AI chatbots. I think they’re fantastic - or at least ChatGPT is. I’m far from the most social person, and working second shift, there’s just not a lot of time to get out of the house and see friends unless it’s on weekends. So I have lots of little conversations about random things with ChatGPT. Yeah, most of it is just informative, but it’s presented in a human interaction sort of way and I really enjoy it.

Demanding the legal right to assault and batter your kids for "discipline" is telling on yourself in so many ways. It says that your approach to interpersonal problems is stuck at a toddler level; that you're a fucking coward who wants to hit people smaller than yourself (I don't see you demanding the right to smack the shit out of Dwayne Johnson); that you frankly don't even like your kids, and expect them to grow up just like you--into shitty people who just deserves a good hittin', god dammit.

One comment regarding reclassification of marijuana by the feds is it will allow pot shops to deduct the cost of their products which is a huge problem. When Colorado legalized weed I had two sets of my tax clients jump in the business. It is very difficult to make a go as your cost of product is not a deductible expense and your taxable income is so much higher than your economic income. Both client groups I worked with gave up and never made an after tax profit. To this day I wonder how existing shops make it. As for banking issues in my experience even debit cards are not allowed. I have never been in a shop that allows it. Supposedly some places use a device called a cashless ATM. I don’t know why this works to skirt the banking regulations. In theory I hope this will result in some price reductions which will help my budget.
