I'm with Tom on the dinty Moore thing

F.A.G.G. (Fat Atheist Gay Guy)

Chunky Soup (Sirloin Burger). Loved it right out of the can when I was a kid. Later, when I lived in St. Croix, the electricity was out after a tropical storm. Opened up the trusty Sirloin Burger and OMG. Alpo with the metallic aftertaste of desperation.

Do M.R.E.s count? My family lost a house in Katrina and I kind of miss them. The M.R.E.s, I mean. Fun fact: The beef stew packet IS Denty Moore in a mylar bag (that you heat with another bag full of chemical packets that react exothermically when combined with water ). Of those, I once and only once opened one to find: beef stew, crackers, bacon-cheddar cheese spread, peanut M&Ms, and a stick of beef jerky. They should all have those contents.

I will never forget the smell of that magnesium-iron alloy + water reaction.

You’re staying in Sydney right? That’s the home of the funnel web spider. The Australian funnel-web spiders are among the deadliest spiders in the world in the effect their bites have on humans and our primate relations (although the bite has little effect on dogs and cats). There are many species of funnel-web spiders in Australia but only male Sydney Funnel-webs have caused human deaths. There have been only 13 deaths recorded from male Sydney Funnel-webs, but up to 30-40 people are bitten by funnel-web spiders each year. Mouse spiders may have venom that is as toxic as that of some funnel-webs, as some patients have had severe reactions to their bites, although no-one has been recorded as having died from the effects of a mouse spider bite. Antivenoms are available for both funnel-web and Redback Spider bites. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_funnel-web_spider

Have you guys seen the clip where Alex Jones struggles to swallow his caveman supplement? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3-ZqD9-W1_8

Oh, yeah, cherry pie filling! I was going to say pickled pigs feet, but that comes in a jar, not a can. I always liked it, but it had to be refrigerated first. It was terrible if it wasn't cold.
