Your point about how home-schooling involves a lot of "well I don't feel like teaching today, so we are gonna do other stuff" rang pretty true for me. I did home-schooling for a year, because my dad got a job in Turkey and my parents were all like "what the hey, lets just move there". We basically did fuck all, all year. I must have had to open my textbooks like once a month. Luckily it was when I was 10, so it had no effect on the rest of school life whatsoever.
