I'm perfect when it comes to googling. I know it because I googled if I was perfect when googling. And there's a conspiracy about me not being perfect! Fucking reptilians

I had the same initial reaction to Trump stinks - not a cogent reason to not vote for Trump, but beyond Cecil's thought, Trump, like Putin is about machismo and self-image. He's a long-haul grifter that depends on it. And, I think if a single person doesn't vote for Trump because of anything, I'm for it. Maybe the Lincoln Project knows something we dont' about the Trump voter.

I agree, we should put oven mitts on Trump like he was a toddler w chicken pox to keep him from using social media.

Hey Tom, I am a research librarian and it's worse than you think. So much quality information, often the real real research, is hidden behind big time paywalls that only universities like mine can afford. This is even worse for medical Information. I'm actually doing research on how the woo hucksters are citing information but they take it out of context or just outright lie about the information in the real research article. Plus, we devalue expertise so much these days and people aren't immersed in these subjects to know the full scope of the subject they're looking at so they will so very often misinterpret what they read. Your point about intellectual humility is so important.
