His curiosity got the better of him as he steppezd onto a metallic panel embedded in the floor. A loud click echoed through the room, and before Raymond could react, a cylindrical glass tube descended from the ceiling, encasing him.

"What the—?!" Raymond exclaimed, pounding his fists against the unyielding glass. Panic surged through him as he searched for an escape.

A calm, mechanical voice resonated from hidden speakers:

CPU: "Subject detected. Initiating transformation protocol. Please remain calm."

Before Raymond could respond, a thick, viscous rubbery goo began to fill the chamber, rising from the floor and creeping from the top chamber. It pooled at his feet before starting to climb his legs. The substance sticky and resistant to his attempts to shake it off.

"What is this stuff?!"

He tried to kick it off, but the goo stuck to him like tar, crawling higher with each passing second. It was sticky, cold, and unrelenting. His panic rose as he realized the more he pulled at it, the tighter it clung.

Raymond thrashed against the goo, but it was futile. The black substance had already reached his waist, solidifying in some areas while remaining flexible in others.

"Get off me! Someone, help!"

His cries were abruptly cut off as a tendril of goo shot up, forcing its way into his mouth. It expanded, forming a thick rubber gag that muffled his screams.

CPU: "Orifices detected. Sealing for nutrient and waste management."

Raymond's muffled protests turned to muffled screams as more goo invaded his body. A hollow plug formed, forcing its way into his rear, locking into place with a disturbing sense of finality. His manhood was encased in a smooth, seamless bulge, erasing any sign of his humanity.

CPU: "All biological functions will now be managed by the Biotech Rubber Interface."

Raymond’s body was now a mix of human and goo, his movements sluggish as the substance began to tighten around him.

The chamber released a second wave of goo, this time vibrant green with streaks of white. It coated his body, smoothing over every feature. Muscles formed where there were none, giving Raymond the appearance of a powerful superhero.

CPU: "Initiating hero transformation protocol."

The green rubber sculpted a heroic figure, with a white belly plate, gloves, and boots. His limbs were forced into position as the goo solidified, locking him into the mold of a stereotypical superhero.

Finally, the helmet formed around his head, sealing him completely. His gag was replaced by a more intricate mechanism, filling his mouth and reshaping his voice into a deep, robotic tone.

"Mmmph! Mmmphhh!"

CPU: "Vocal modulation complete. Visual and auditory sensors activated."

Raymond blinked as his vision returned. He could now see his reflection in the glass of the chamber. His heart sank as he saw the fully transformed figure staring back at him—a shiny, green rubber hero with no trace of his former self.

The transformation complete, the machine’s voice grew colder, more commanding.

CPU: "Phase three initiated: Behavioral reprogramming."

Raymond’s body jerked upright, his movements no longer his own. His arms snapped to his sides, and his legs straightened, locking him into a formal stance.

CPU: "Hero prototype successfully produced. Initiating network integration."

Raymond’s mind clouded as commands flooded his brain. His thoughts faded, replaced by the machine’s programming.

CPU: "Finalizing control interface. You are now Ranger Green."

"Ranger Green, ready to serve"  - now in Raymond's robotic voice.

Weeks later, Raymond found himself patrolling the laboratory, unable to deviate from the machine’s orders. But one day, a glitch in the system caused him to stumble into a corner of the lab where the signal was weak. For the first time, his thoughts were his own.

Raymond: (Mechanical tone softening.) "I… I can move on my own!"

Desperation fueled his actions as he clawed at the rubber encasing him. He pulled, stretched, and pressed against the suit, but it refused to budge.

"I... must... resist... must... take... this... off..."

His panic grew as he realized the truth—the suit wasn’t just an outfit. It had merged with his body, permanently altering him.

Alarms blared, and Raymond froze. Through the fogged glass of the lab, he saw other rubberized heroes approaching, their movements precise and unyielding. He backed into the corner, his heart pounding despite the suit’s control over his body. The rubber heroes surrounded him, their emotionless eyes staring him down.

"No! You can’t take me back! I won’t—"

Before he could finish, they grabbed him, dragging him back to the central control chamber. As the machine reasserted control, Raymond felt his free will slip away once more.
