As Mecha Tiga approached, his metallic paws extended, and from them flowed a stream of specialized goo, a concoction of rubber and nanites. At first, it was just a thin, glistening layer, clinging to his scales. Grey thrashed, trying to shake it off, but every movement only spread it faster. It worked like it was alive, flowing over his back, slithering down his legs, and coiling around his arms.
“What is this?!” he roared. But his words only hastened his doom. The goo surged upward, crawling over his neck and jaw, silencing him as it encased his snout.
Grey watched in horror as the goo spread, starting from his back, enveloping his muscular legs, then his arms, transforming his once formidable claws into mittens that squeaked with every futile movement. The goo, initially transparent, began to darken, taking on the colors of Grey's scales and markings, creating a second skin that was both a prison and a new identity.
The transformation continued as the goo reached his head. His vision was overtaken by a visor that flickered with hypnotic patterns, his consciousness slipping into a new, programmed existence. His mouth, once a source of fiery breath, now morphed into nothing but a hollow, rubbery orifice, ready for whatever purpose Mecha Tiga deemed necessary.
The first sound he made as a drone was not a roar of defiance but the squeak of his new rubberized body shifting as he tested his limited range of motion. Mecha Tiga's laugh rumbled, deep and satisfied.
“Perfect,” the mech purred, circling his latest creation. “You’ll serve well, Drone Grey.”
The dragon—no, the drone—didn’t respond. It couldn’t. Its purpose now was obedience, training, and deployment. Mecha Tiga grabbed the leash dangling from the collar and gave it a sharp tug, leading Grey toward the desolate horizon.
“You’re just the beginning,” Mecha Tiga muttered, glancing back at his new drone with a predatory grin. “There’s a whole world waiting to be transformed.”
