Hello again! As mentioned in my previous post this Friday you all will be spending time making a character for a video game themed roleplay. I'm currently working on the art which I hope to be animated so wish me luck ^_^

Out of the choices below let me know which sounds most interesting to you for next Friday's character. I want to keep it somewhat vague to keep the story a surprise :P

Now that you've brought up video games, that just brought me to have a small topic about a game I'm going back to playing. So I used to play a lot of Rainbow Six Siege like a lot, but I actually stopped playing it in 2020 since it wasn't as interesting anymore and kinda fell off for me. Later on in 2024, my cousin and I went back to playing it and both of us agree that it's making a comeback, but it will never be the same as it used to be back then since of all the changes they've done in the game. From the Attacker Blitz being a frustration to defenders to downright useless as a shield operator, to also some other changes that were either good or bad. One of my favorites being Dokkaebi's change. For context, Dokkaebi(Korean Hacker Lady that I hardcore Main as an Operator, including getting her Elite Skin) is an attacker who's gadget is to make the defenders phone ring, giving away their position to the attackers of where the defenders are. Only way to turn them off is to be around a mute jammer or just turn it off themselves. If a defender dies then Dokkaebi can hack into their phones to give all attackers access to the defenders camera's. One thing they gave Dokkaebi was giving her frag grenades instead of smoke grenades, which makes her more better since if someone is busy with disabling their phone or something their doing, I could easily just throw a frag and kill them easily. Recently however, they just updated it to where you can no longer cook the grenade when holding it, which to me feels weird, but it still doesn't change how effective it can be. Anyways with that ramble out of the way, video game audio is what I'm waiting for so I'm interested in what you are gonna do.

Oh photography and theatre are neck and neck (as of writing this comment lol) Good luck with the animation, I’m sure it’s time consuming having to draw a bunch of frames, really respect that! Looking forward to seeing the final product!

I've never played Rainbow Six Siege but it sounds pretty fun based on the things you mentioned. I like the idea of a phone ringing giving away someone's location- that's not only funny but pretty realistic too xD While I've never played it, I can relate to the feeling (both good and bad) of when a game changes. Being an older player, I enjoy old WoW much more than its current state. However, I still find little things here and there that are neat which make me enjoy it still :) I hope you enjoy the video game audio! I loved the theme, so it was a lot of fun writing and voicing. I'd still like to do an audio based on the .hack// series one day but that's going to take quite a bit of time haha!

Thank you, Succotash! It seems like they are still pretty close so I'm curious which one will win :P Watch me write and create the story and then last minute the other wins- that's happened before haha!
