You wake up confused, not knowing where you are...The last thing you remember is escaping from your camp after a monster attack; everything after seems like a blur. You don't feel so good either but it's hard to put your symptoms into words. Luckily for you a kind doctor offers to take you in for further examination. 

Happy Friday everyone! I hope this audio is a good start to a wonderful weekend for you :) Like I mentioned in a previous post, this audio is connected to my previous apocalypse roleplay. You don't need to listen to it to still enjoy this one however! Long story short, eldritch creatures are taking over the earth :P

Some of you may already know this but I have to "prep" my mic in a very certain way to do ear cleaning sounds lol. I did something a little different this time- let me know how it sounds! This drawing was pretty difficult for me, but I had a lot of fun with it. I always enjoy drawing characters the push me to try new things :D

Way off the path from your usual stuff, I like it. Her dark outfit, mask and even the lantern she's holding. The ear cleaning and bandaging sounds were really nice. I couldn't tell what you did differently, but I suppose it's better kept as a top secret Ali recipe for ASMR. 🤫

Happy Friday! This was really nice to listen to as I start my day off, as I am planning to play a certain game all day (I wonder if you can guess which one lol). But in seriousness, the sounds were great! However like Antoni said, I'm not sure what is different but I can say that everything sounded good. I also really like the character design and glad you had fun making it. I think it turned out really good. There is something about the hat that feels a bit off, but I can't really say why and it's definitely not bad or anything. It might just be personal taste.

Dying or perhaps infiltrating a new camp of victims? >:) Hehe, I'll leave that up to everyone's imagination! I'm really glad you like how the plague doctor turned out. Was definitely a challenge- mainly the hat and coloring. When you only use one color the shading starts to mess with your eyes after a while haha! For the ear cleaning, it wasn't too different from how I did my last one. I had the idea of wrapping it up in plastic wrap again but in a different way- more bunched up lol. I know that sounds kinda weird but hey, I'm always up for trying new things! :D

I know exactly how you plan on spending your weekend :P I hope you have lots of fun! Since I can't play it myself at the moment, I've been enjoying watching Asmon play it in the meantime. I will say though, I definitely want to play it myself when I can. The graphics and story are so good! As for the ear cleaning sound, it wasn't anything too different. I really just tried wrapping and bunching up some plastic wrap on my mic in a different way haha! It's really nice to try drawing different things when I can. While frustrating I do enjoy the challenge of it. That freaking hat was such a pain in my ass! lol I think half the time I spent on it was trying to understand how the hell a hat sits on a head! xD

This comment kinda got away from me with all my raving lol, but I guess I should put a trigger warning on this as I have talked about some heavier topics in games. Feel free to skip this post if anyone is reading all these and not looking for a bit of a downer. It's also just long in general so skip cause of that if you want as well lol but it's a part of narratives that I am very passionate about. FF16's been great so far! It might end up being my favorite game ever! I don't want to go into too much as you will likely see it while Asmon is playing or when you play it in the future but there are a lot of games that only really show the cool or whimsical side of a fantasy setting and don't really go very deep into the darker side. But FF16 embraces that shit by showing the brutality for everyone when fighting along side god-like beings, awful depictions of slavery, and implied SA as just a few examples. None of these are good things, but it makes the world feel a lot more genuine when they address these horrific aspects of humanity. To me, I think that adds a lot. I don't want to go on this for too long as I've already typed a lot, but the Legend of Heroes games have a scene that is from the perspective of a child prostitute and it fucked me up real bad. I cried immensely when I was going through that segment as the child at the time is one of my favorite characters in the game. Also since it is from their perspective there is not a lot that is explicitly shown or said as it's a child processing the event but playing it as an adult it's just disturbing. It's so excellently written that I don't think there is a single moment in any game that will live as rent free as it despite how abhorrent the topic is. Now all that being said, there are games that just kinda use it as shock value which I don't appreciate. For example there's a scene in a game called Evenicle (NSFW game) that made me never want to play the game again. It was so grotesque and unnecessary that I could just not justify it as anything good. Even a YouTube reviewer that mostly makes joking reviews (SsethTzeentach), also expressed how much they did not enjoy it so I feel a bit justified lol.

I really enjoyed reading your comment about your take on the game as well as other titles! It's great to hear you enjoying the game so much :) So far I've only watched maybe an hour or two of gameplay after the demo, but everything in terms of story has really got me interested. I really do appreciate that you touched on the topic of the game highlighting even the darker side of a fantasy setting. Like you said, or course none of these topics are good, but if done right they make for a really good story that adds depth and emotion. This is definitely my own bias talking here, but I personally enjoy these types of stories most in anime, manga, games, etc. because they just feel more real to me. Of course I don't like the sad/dark events themselves, but it really adds to the overall picture of what the creator is trying to convey. Just to put in a couple of titles that I feel do this well are American McGee's Alice (game) and Bokurano (anime/manga). I won't list any books because that would get too long haha!

Glad that it was able to interest you as well, I just got done with a boss fight in that was so fucking cool, and my friend who is a little further in the game told me the next major boss is even better so I'm VERY excited lol. But yeah I completely agree as you might imagine, "bad" things happening can really elevate a story. At least for me. I do know there is a lot of people that don't really like it and that's fine I don't think it needs to be in every story. Games like Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing that are more focused on positive things are amazing as well. But it's greatly appreciated in games that are trying to build a living world. I also think there is too many things I could list that fit the bill as I have played a lot of games. However I can name something that is basically the furthest I think I would be willing to go while still being entertained by a game. And that's a game called "My Lovely Daughter". It starts off with a warning screen that says "The dark and twisted themes of My Lovely Daughter are a commentary on child labor, abusive parenting, and ignorant societies. This game is intended to make people sad and uneasy but there is a deeper meaning behind this horror." It is not really joking with that warning either, you create a bunch of homunculus's and have them do jobs to build up their emotions only to slaughter them later. All in the hope that you can bring your real daughter back to life.

I share a very similar sentiment about the media I consume so it was a pleasure reading your comment :) For the record I want to say to anyone who reads this that I love Animal Crossing and cute things too- I swear I'm not emo/dark all the time! lol I've never heard of that game, but it sounds very interesting. It makes me think of Shou Tucker in FMA as well as a book called "Tender is the Flesh" by Agustina Bazterrica. Not for the faint of heart but the end goal sounds very similar to the game you described. I hope you enjoy your next boss fight! :D Funny enough I'm about to eat dinner so prime Asmongold watching time for me. I'll be enjoying the game too just in a different way haha!

I don't think anyone would mind if you were just emo/dark all the time lol but being varied is always good. I imagine the game might be close to FMA but I haven't seen it so that's only a guess based on the small amount that I know of it. I did actually get to it already and it was awesome! Hope you have fun watching Asmon!

Loved it! It makes me think of that movie Annihilation which I loved you should really give it a watch if you haven't seen it lol. I feel darkness may be lurking in the deep of this poor unsuspecting camp, the only thing holding them together is the will of a small Alichu lol. Sorry also for not having many comments on here. I recently have had a string of bad and good luck. A super good thing is I got a new job that I'll be starting soon :D I may not always be able to comment, but I do love hearing your audios and participating in your polls. I enjoy reading everyone's comments to not only you, but each other as well. I think this little community will b e a fun place to chat and hang out for a long time. That's super awesome news :D And don't apologize about not being able to comment. I never want anyone to feel pressured to do so.
