As you're making your way to class you notice a small girl in distress. It seems like she's getting bullied by some larger marine students. Seeing as that your related to the head of the school you know it's not a big deal if you're late- a monster girl needs saving after all!

Happy Friday everyone! I have to say that I really enjoyed writing this story lol. I know a mantis shrimp is kinda weird but hey, I like it! This was definitely not an excuse to punch you all, I promise :P

I admit that I'm not the best when it comes to using water sounds haha! This is also my first time trying to create a punching sound so hopefully it's not too loud lol.

Some of you may have already seen my post on youtube but I'll give a little rundown here too just in case. I've been thinking about this for a bit, and I think for now I'm going to be posting on youtube once a week instead of two. I recently took some time to improve on my art style and it was really enjoyable for me. So I want to lean into that more and take the time to make my content better.

Posting here on Patreon will still be the same, so I'll still be doing my weekly roleplay and other things. This only relates to my Youtube posting. I think taking that extra time on writing and my art will be a good decision in the long run :D

One punch + Alichu, you have no idea how happy this makes me. Shrimp girls design looks great, her hair reminds me of Ragyo Kiryuin from Kill la Kill. Also the punching reminds me of when me and the boys would play the punching game in high school.

I really liked how the shrimpy turned out after you posted the sketch! I also really enjoyed the punches but I fear for you mic if any real punching was done anywhere near it lol. I don't really respond to anything using my YT account but I did see the post earlier and I agree with pretty much all the comments, take the extra time that you need! Even if you aren't spending all that extra time trying to improve, rest is important too

I really liked this one it was pretty good for a first attempt the punches sounded like someone dribbling a basketball which was kinda funny to me but it was still pretty good for a first try not loud at all. It's also nice that you got the rainbow kinda color for the mantis I recently went to an aquarium and saw one and I was curious how your character would turn out and it is really nice. I did see your post about working on improving your art style and slowing down your content out put which is good for yoruself it would be a shame if you burn yourself out or no longer enjoy doing what you like also better to make a video you put alot of care and effort into then rush a bunch of different video. I abousltelty love your art style it kinda has a mix of anime and western cartoon style which I love not just because of the cartoons I watched as a kid lol but the style is very unique and cool an i still love to this day. Little side note in my head the one punch theme is playing in my head when I listened to this but I replaced the punch part with shrimp so it just goes one shirmmmmmppppppp I just thought that was funny 😅

3, 2, 1- killshot! I listened to the OPM opening on and off as I drew this and I kept chuckling to myself lol. I'm really happy you enjoyed it <3 I have a vague memory of the punching game...is that when you and a friend would hit each other as hard as you could back and forth until someone gave in? xD

I'm glad you like how she turned out! I promise that no mics were harmed in the recording of this audio hehe :P It was a little challenging doing the punching sound. I didn't want it to be too loud but loud enough for it to be a punch. Finding that balance was a lot of fun though, I always enjoy trying to make a new sound ^_^ I appreciate your comment about my post too, thanks for that! <3

I thought it sounded kinda like a basketball too haha! If I ever do a sporty character I know what sound I should do again. I admit I listened to the One Punch song a few times while drawing this- it was really funny! xD That's really cool you got to see a mantis shrimp. I've been to a few aquariums, but I don't remember seeing one- I'd really like to though. I really appreciate your comment on my art and my youtube post, thank you! ^_^ The last thing I want is to feel rushed or burnt out. Taking more time for the art and stories will make it more fun too!

I'm glad that you have fun finding new sounds, all the Foley artists I've seen in like BTS stuff for movies and games seems like they always have a good time with it. So I imagine it's the same for most ASMR creators. I forgot to say it in my first post but also as usual hope you have a good weekend! My parents got a new pup so mine has been going well. However I do also have the opening of Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV stuck in my head and I have probably watched it 20 times today alone lol. It's stopping me from playing the new game at this point.

A new doggo, how exciting! :D My dad had a few boxers growing up and I remember how sweet and adorable they were. I looked up that opening you mentioned and that was a really good song! I watched a little of the gameplay also- I've always been a fan of turn based games ^_^

I'm defiantly not the biggest fan of dogs, I much prefer cats, but any new animal is always a fun time and it's been nice seeing my parents happy! If you happened to have looked at the video of the opening too there's quite a few characters in there if you are interested in designs. Also yeah, I hadn't really talked about it but it is turn based and pretty unique compared to a lot of other games, especially with the more current games as more and more mechanics and characters are added to the series. Like I think this newest one has 51 playable party members in total, although you only ever have up to 7-8 at a time due to like story or other limitations.

I know I haven't commented much lately due to me still getting accustomed to my new job, but I wanted to take the time and start going through all the RP's I've missed. The punching sound in this was awesome I found it super relaxing and very cute for the character!!

It's the video I watched to learn more about mantis shrimps! xD Even though I watched that video years ago I came back to it specifically for this character lol. No worries about catching up, take all the time you need <3 Life always comes first so I understand needing to slow down now and then. The best part about audios is that they will always be here so enjoy them at your own pace :) I'm really glad you enjoyed this character and I hope your new job is going well!
