Wildfire 4X3: Calm (Patreon)

Ugh. I hate this. Where is my comfy, cozy show? There is so much angst right now! (Also, I've watched a couple of episodes since I watched this one, so hopefully, I don't get them mixed together in this description).

So, Jean and Pablo are still super pissed at Kris. They are so cold and icy towards her. I get that they are upset, but they could at least be civil. Yes, she messed up. Badly. But, she did everything in her power to make it right, and left as soon as you asked her to. It's not her fault that Matt came to her begging her to come back and help Wildfire.

If Jean and Matt could just have an honest conversation about everything right now, it would really fix a lot of the issues. Matt is miserable being a dude ranch owner, and just wants to get back into horse racing. Jean, refuses to even think about it. Everyone is so unhappy right now. I hate it.

Anyway, Noah has a horse fall on top of him and he sprains his ankle, which results in Kris staying around the clinic to help. Jean is furious about this. When Noah and Kris come to look at Wildfire, Jean initially tells them she doesn't want Kris to even come in. But Noah convinces her. It's ugly, you guys.

By the end of the episode, Jean and Kris have sort of reached a bit of a truce, especially since Kris took a permanent position as an assistant to the Noah. And then, Wildfire is acting up and he sees Kris from across the ranch. This broken horse, jumped the fence in order to get over to see his BFF. What's not to love about that?
