One Tree Hill 8X16: I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here (Patreon)

I was so afraid that with this title, it was gonna be more of Chuck singing show tunes. Still way too much Chuck (how the hell did he make the team, it's objectively terrible) though.

So, we're trying to throw Haley a baby shower, but she's making it hard. Quinn is tasked with getting her to Brooke's house, but Haley just wants to lie around. Eventually, Quinn is forced to tell her it's her shower in order to get her there.

However, earlier that day, Brooke and Julian met with a woman who is looking to put her baby up for adoption. They basically lie their way through the entire interview trying to make a good impression. So, this woman shows up at the baby shower (to thank them for meeting with her) while Brooke is chugging a beer, and everyone spills the tea on Brooke.

Finally, she drags Haley into the kitchen and tells her they are trying to adopt this lady's baby. So, Haley ends up making a toast to Brooke about wonderful she is, and how she saved Jamie's life, and she wouldn't trust anyone else to be around her kid.

Eventually, Brooke tells this lady the truth about her and Julian. And that's kind of all she needed to hear. Shortly after, she comes back and tells Brooke and Julian that she wants them to be the parents to her kid. They're getting a baby! I'm so happy for Brooke!

Also, am I the only one who finds Julian's sport antics endearing? I feel like it should be cringing and annoying, but I just can't find it in me to be annoyed at him. (I am still low key concerned he's gonna die before this show ends).
