BOHICA Blues: KFOR "Warnings Exist for a Reason" (Patreon)

Here at Camp Bondsteel, in Kosovo, we have what's called the "Eagle Cash Card". It is essentially a pre-paid debit card that is used instead of cash at the on-post venues. We fill it with money from our home accounts, and you can only charge what you have on it.
It's better than a credit card or debit because if someone steals it, they only have the money that is on it and no more. Once it runs out, that's it. Of course, some people load up their Eagle cash cards and take the risk, but that's their choice. I keep about $100 to $200 on mine at a time.
Now, the Eagle cash cards works at most places on Camp Bondsteel, but it meaningless off-post. And of course, if you're going to get in trouble, it will most likely be when you're off-post.
So if you're going to be every First Sergeant's nightmare and go out and get arrested, have a supply of cash on you, or a friend you can contact, because your Eagle Cash Card will not be able to save you.
