General Update (Patreon)
Content
Okay! So, I mentioned when I posted Mass Effect: Final Error's latest chapters that I'd be making a post discussing next month's plan. I'd actually meant to do that a bit quicker, but I've been buried in various projects. Anyway! There's really only two major points to cover.
First, the few Voter Tier patrons might have noticed that I closed the poll down right after the Mass Effect: Final Error update. This was, to be blunt, because all five of the people that can currently vote in that poll voted for the same story. It seemed silly to leave it open, when closing it meant I might be able to squeeze in a head start on that story before the month ended. For those not on the voter tier, the winner by 100% consensus was Can One Displaced Hero Save the Galaxy?.
Shocking. Absolutely shocking. Or, you know, not at all shocking since it seems to be my second most popular story everywhere it's been posted ;-). I haven't actually been able to spare the time to write on it. But I have managed to sit down and prep a solid outline of my ideas for it that goes out several updates. I have a very solid plan for where that story is going, I just have to actually find the time to get writing in.
The second major point is the overall plan for next month. I think that what I did this month ended up working out pretty well. So, I'm essentially planning to replicate it as best as possible next month. I already have about 3,500 words of the next My Hero Automata update ready. And I'm hoping to have that up to at least 6,000 before the 1st. If I can manage that, then the release plan will be the same as this month's was. My Hero Automata on the 1st, Can One Displaced Hero Save the Galaxy? a week later, a second My Hero Automata post a week after that, and ending with a Mass Effect: Final Error update in the last week of the month.
I have to admit I'm a little bit concerned about hitting precise deadlines this time. I really don't have that much time to write (the whole point of the patreon being to hopefully fix that in the long run), and next month is going to be a bit busy. Which means it's possible one or more of those might slip a bit. Though I absolutely refuse to not get them done. It's only the exact dates that might slide slightly. And the releases are less likely to be oversized like Can One Displaced Hero Save the Galaxy? was earlier this month. I actually think My Hero Automata will be a bit Plus Sized. But that's mostly because I really really want to push through to the end of the Heroics Tournament. I don't want the story to stall out on any one arc overly long.
Anyway! That's all for now! Look forward to a My Hero Automata release roughly around the 1st! Hopefully actually on the first...
