File Compression of 'Compacted' Disc (CD Tf/Flattening) (Patreon)

Sometimes getting canned should be the least of one's concerns. When the newest adaptation of the beloved series Halo was announced for cancelation the first 3 letters of the word stuck with a couple of. The sentient A.I. companion of the fabled soldier however was not one of those worried. Cortana knew just how coveted her seemingless endless knowledge or potential would be and was thus rather calm and nonchalant as she strutted around the empty set of one of the abodes her fingers tracing a simple plain counter.

She was the last one still present as the rest had been forced to leave and never return prior for some reason, though she couldn't quite process with her internal memory or RAM why she had been allowed more time she wasn't one to look down on the advantages it provided.

This folly in logic over preservation however would be her seemingly downfall. A figure approaching her with soft and subtle footsteps. Their words ringing through her processor like mind as the resounding ***SQUELCH!*** filled the room. Her entire being compressed like the files she was into a more 'compact disc' her before she clattered to the floor. The multiple hues of blue mass now a more sleek and refined shape that was more appropriate for what they were. The words echoing in Cortana's core as she was plucked from the floor and lined up with her newly prepared housing.

"Hmmm? So you truly did stay you malfunctioning series of 1's and 0's~ I believed you'd have accessed the probabilities of what's next after cancelation and scurried off before anyone noticed."

"Hmmm? I don't understand. What do you mean?"

". . . Well unlike the others an A.I. isn't a person. . . It's a prop. And much like everything else on set it becomes nothing more than a liquidated asset to sell off to recoup losses. . . Though the main loss for you will definitely be those lovely curves~"

"Wait?! What are yo-"

***SQUELRCH!***

"Hmmmm? Seems like a certain data file just learned to 'Zip' it~ Don't worry. . . I'll make sure to transfer you to somewhere proper for your new form~"

And with that conclusion the outdated A.I. Beauty Icon was reduced to an appropriately outdated form. . . After all. . . Her character always was a bit flat.

This time it appears like Cortana learned the hard way what becomes of an A.I. when the show is no more~

For anyone curious what all this means we'll it came out recently that paramount finally canceled their (in my opinion horrible) Halo TV series after 2 seasons. And so Cortana here is definitely gonna be how some of those executives recoup their losses~.
