So this was said a long time ago by SQQ but demons show affection via violence we learnt this back when we first met SHL so a long long time ago. SQQ writes this but somehow completely forgot this fact. Then MBJ reiterates this with his “beat them up 3 times daily” and what do he do to SQH beat him up daily. I think it’s interesting that SQH has something’s in common with LBH like the broken family, Absent mother and distant father, and I wouldn’t say love for cooking but we know SQH can cook and uses it to his advantage. The head pats. I will expand on this after chapter 99. I genuinely think SJ did try to help LQG in the cave, SY literally says when he goes to help LQG I apologize if I accidentally kill you because I’ve never done this before. Then SQH turning around and telling SJ don’t try to help someone Qi deviating you might do more harm than good and you’ll regret it. Then SJ in his chapters refusing to talk about what happened in the caves. My shipper brain does love LQG x SJ. SQH loves whump SQH is also the one who told LBH to be more pitiful and clingy. LBH self admittedly knew he was being clingy but now he ups it. If I had to guess this is right before the holy mausoleum. I believe The original fan translation translated as “if your hearts are out sync how do you communicate your feelings”

I'd say that making LMY and the 3 nuns rpf fanfic writers and their works even influenced basically everyone's opinions regarding the main pair in that world is not only a easter egg, but also a way of showing SY!SQQ's influence on supposedly 2d characters of PIDW. SY only remembers LMY as 'one of og!LBH's most loved wife that doesn't come with smut scene' and the 3 nuns as 'the triplets responsible for being tools and balance the male lead's demonic power' and now they are portrayed to have their own personalities and hobbies and interact with one another outside the harem. It's heavily implied that in the og novel SJ tried to help LQG during the qi deviation but end up failed and got blamed. Long long ago during the prison break arc of SY!SQQ, dude got trapped by LBH in the dream realm and forced to witness the death of LQG and YQY in the book. At time LQG already pierced his sword into his chest, SY!SQQ yanked it out and got splashed all over by blood. If this being also SJ!SQQ's reaction, I'd say LQG's death is like 60% on him(if the sword isn't pulled out maybe LQG still stands a chance, after all we are supposed to live in a world with magic and modern day surgery can already bring back ppl with similar injuries without elixir, spiritual energy and other cultivation gadgets) and 40% on LQG himself. MXTX reused the sword name Hongjing in HOB, their working mechanics are different (the sword's unable to be pulled out and it's supposed to send alarms when evil approaches here in SVSSS and in HOB you need to pull out the blade and see if it turned red or reflects the evil)

I compare the reveal of Liu Mingyan being the author of the fanfiction based off of Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe to the reveal of Nie Huaisang being the mastermind behind so much of what happens in Mo Dao Zu Shi. It's not explicitly said in the book by Nie Huaisang but we do get more of reveal to him having been so much more than just the Head-Shaker he portrayed himself as for years. Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, or at least the way the English translation is, doesn't give you that same understanding in regards to Liu Mingyan (I do place some blame on the English translation as later on, such as when the three nuns meet Liu Mingyan, they could have added a translation note to inform the English-reading audience of the link between her name and her penname). Or even an inclusion of Liu Mingyan meeting another fan in the form of our fudanshi Tianlang-jun 😅 Mobei-jun claiming Shang Qinghua's things as his own made me shout "Married!!! They're so married!" when I first read this 😆 Shang Qinghua's System definitely seems to give him better paced deadlines than Shen Qingqiu's, which I do find amusing considering as Airplane Shooting Towards The Sky he had the more strict deadlines to adhere to in order to get such long chapters out to meet his fans' (and anti-fans) wants. I do love the detail that whilst Shen Yuan was getting used to being Shen Qingqiu (and praising himself for doing such a good job at not making anyone suspect him) they were all actually having this kind of a secret meeting to discuss the changes they'd noticed in his character 🤣 It also highlights that Shen Qingqiu is an unreliable narrator because he never knew they all suspected him, alongside us not seeing that Shang Qinghua met him before the Immortal Alliance Conference. But learning about Shen Qingqiu learning from Liu Qingge at Baizang Peak?? Yeah that just fuelled my ship for them all the more 😍 I giggled at you asking if Shang Qinghua has ate three kilos of sh*t yet 😆 Getting his perspective of all the changes Shen Yuan had implemented injects a lot more humour into the story. I do love that Luo Binghe didn't barrage Mobei-jun for his response to the "feelings" question he posed 🥺 But I will say that the whole setup of that conversation gave me such "teenage girls at a sleepover" vibe 🤣 But I do feel for Luo Binghe. Both his "fathers" (Tianlang-jun and Airplane Shooting Towards The Sky) seem to have a similar taste when it comes to his relationship with Shen Qingqiu (at least if we go by Tianlang-jun's taste in fictional material). The laugh I let out of me when Mobei-jun questioned the advice Shang Qinghua gave Luo Binghe, because from their first meeting that's exactly how Shang Qinghua has behaved around Mobei-jun 🤭 Airplane Shooting Towards The Stars shot his own foot with that advice. Shang Qinghua having the chance to return to his previous life, but thinking of staying because he thought of Mobei-jun as a friend really makes me love their ship all the more 🥺 The end of this chapter was so mean for you 😆 The possibilities within the fandom definitely help make you feel like it's less the end of an era. Also the potential for the next novel by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, whenever it may come.

Yes, that is funny how SQQ forgets one of the key features considering he’s all about information with “monsters!” I’m not a fan of “show affection through violence” for obvious implications, but it is what it is. And I love how MXTX mixes character traits with them overlapping. And the headpats - I love a good headpat for a character! SJ trying to help LQG just adds to the angst! But I really do love SJ and LQG as a ship…poor YQY can’t have it in either sense, can he? But yeah, SQH seems to…ahem…enjoy some pain, doesn’t he? And yeah, I want to smack him, though, for giving LBH the suggestion to be even MORE clingy. *face palm* If SQQ finds out, he’ll probably throttle him. Not that SQH would mind that, though! ;) Thank you for the comment!

I do like that idea of SQQ having influenced LMY and the 3 nuns - I just wish it had been developed more in the story, because there’s so much gold with humor you can mine there! And yesss, I do love the idea of SJ having tried to help LQG as well; I thought that too! YES! I kept wondering where I’d heard Hongjing before and there it is! I think if the whole LMY and ballad of Chunshan plotline had more…relevance to the plot overall like the NHS reveal (which was connected to the mystery/action in the climaz) I would have liked it better. But here it just had so much more potential to me – but I agree with you on the translation - I think maybe MXTX learned from the experience when she developed NHS as a character! 😀 Ahahaha, MoShang really are married, aren’t they?! 😀Poor SQQ’s, whose system was all on him with ridiculous deadlines hahaha!! ALSO, oh my god, the fact that SQQ thought he was sly and covert and EVERYONE saw through it is hilarious! The Bai Zhan peak reveal was WILD though - but it for sure fuels my ship for them 100%, I agree! SQQ, an unreliable narrator, what?! I really, really love SQH’s perspective in all of this if I’m honest! I also feel for LBH for being so confused with what to do and his resources being Sha Hauling (who doesn’t care), Mobei-Jun (who is equally clueless), and Airplane - who has the WORST IDEAS. And then MBJ connecting the dots to realize that SQH was flirting with him! Bwahahaha! Honestly, the moment he was “questioning” returning and realized his life back home wasn’t as great? I was like, “YOU ARE GOING TO STAY!” What a cruel cliffhanger, though! It’s so crazy to think I’m near the end of SVSSS…but I’m already wanting MXTX to get on that fourth novel, haha!!
