Hey everyone!  You may have heard by now, but I just wanted to address it for those who haven't or those who are wondering if I've gotten the news yet.  I'm extremely sad about the news of Rooster Teeth officially shutting down :((((((((((((  It's truly the end of an era!  I'm still in a bit of shock over it - the unfinished stories, the finality of it all.  I honestly have no clue what this means for RWBY Vol. 10 either, which is another thing that I'm just in total shock about.  I'm going to miss some of the most amazing content, creators and cast like CRWBY and the superb voices/characters that we've come to know and love so much, the coolest customer support ever who helped me time and time again, etc.  :(  Anyway, thanks for reading, I just wanted to get this out.  Hugs to you all <3

Honestly this is as shocking to me & all of us as I know it was for all the people at RT. I have been a part of this community since 2013 so this is a really sad time to live in. I am so thankful to this company & specifically the people working there for giving me so much entertainment/enjoyment as well as for the great stories they made. The one thing I hope is that if RWBY is sold which I have hope for the company or person who buys it cares about the story & characters and is willing to see/tries their best to involve members of CRWBY especially the people who work on the music & the voice actors. I heard some say that the channel/company GLITCH which supports & helps create many indie animations. Also I hope the spirit of the show is kept & there aren’t big changes That negatively affect the show. I have high hopes for the Death Battle show as well to continue in one way or another. It was bittersweet but also heartwarming to watch the goodbye stream they did because of how emotional & genuine the employees were. There is a lot we don’t know at this point but maybe there will be silver linings to this news because if certain shows are sold we see continuations of Nomad of Nowhere as well as a full season for the Arizal show which only had pilot stuff. All I know for sure is I am sending as much love & support as I can to the members & fans who are saddened & affected by this shutdown. And remember RWBY will live in our hearts forever as long as we remember it. :-) <3

Something else I wanted to say is while there have been a lot of problems and controversies with the company I still really love RT. And to be fair most of the problems within the company or were caused by individuals and not most of the employees. As well as Warner Bros. just doing what corporations do & caring more about money than anything else. One of the managers said it is not WB’s fault it’s happening and they are helping support the employees as much as possible during this process but unfortunately I don’t completely believe that while they are still working for Warner Bros. because I am cynical when it comes to big companies. Maybe one day we will learn more in depth stuff about the major problems facing the company and employees like budget cuts & the like when employees are more comfortable but for now I agree that we should not ask the employees those kinds of questions when they are worrying about their livelihoods. :-) <3

Well said!!! And I agree, I really hope that RWBY is treated with the love and respect it deserves. There are so many unknowns, but with any luck maybe certain series will still go on somehow! Seeing more Nomad would be awesome! I couldn't have said it better myself!!! Keep moving forward ^_^

That's the thing, I feel like a great majority of the employees, staff, creators, etc. were really good, decent, hardworking and talented people. And of course any time there's a group of people together you're going to get some bad apples in the mix. Very true that we might get more details on things now that people's jobs aren't depending on what they say too.
