"The day was long and difficult , the road treacherous and unforgiving. Thank the gods you have found a place to camp, somewhere to rest your old bones and aching back.

Once the camp is made and  the fire dances merrily, you surrender to the warm embrace of your bed roll, sleep taking you but a moment later.

Your rest is graced with pleasant dreams of good ale and comely barmaids, of favourable dice and deep pockets.

Though sadly it is not to last, as you awaken to the sound of your companions grunting snores. Cursing him you roll over to face towards the edge of the camp, hoping to return to your blissful slumber.

The fire light playing up the sides of the encircling wagon, the flames casting shadows out into the night.

A figure stands there, its cowled head facing you, its form hidden beneath dark robes.

Perhaps you should call out, warn your friends. No, the figure is only 10 paces away, if its intentions are ill it will be on you well before they can help.

Your hand moves slowly towards the dagger at your belt . You may only have one chance.

You close your eyes for a moment, trying to steady your breathing and slow your racing heart.

You open them to find yourself standing before the figure, dagger missing for your hand.

'I have been looking for you' says a rasping voice from beneath the dark hood 'you owe me a debt and I have come to exact the balance'

A hand shoots forward and slams into your chest, you feel bone shatter and flesh tear as bony fingers grasp your beating heart....

Hi guys!

Here is the latest battlemap i created for you guys!

I hope you like it. I have been experimenting more with battle tokens, everything but the trees is created using individual tokens I have drawn so hopefully I can start making those available to you soon!

I am keen to release a dungeon and a city map for the other two premium maps this month so shoot me your ideas and I will get on that :)

Released under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license

Thanks
