Yusuke used his own cigarette in the manga

Kimblee is telling the truth to Winry, but it doesn't show in anime, but it appear on manga. https://i.ibb.co/FKsnC5z/20.jpg

Yusuke falling ass backwards into success is a common theme in this anime and is always hilarious. Kuwabara: "That's was a 2000 IQ move hiding in the mud!" Yusuke: "Hiding? I slipped, son! Tf you mean the battle is over?!"

Yu yu Hakusho. I know you guys already know the answer but I’ll speak for myself during this episode. When they said it must be the little kid, I immediately jump of that thought because there no way it will be that obvious. So my theory during this episode was that kuwabara was never here and was the demon in disguise.

I see your profile picture in these comments sections from time to time and I always forget to tell you that it's fire!

Come on guys... could you please do 2 episodes of Yu Yu Hakusho x week? Otherwise is going to take you 2 full years to finish the show 🙏🏻

#SundayRundown #YuYuHakusho Yusuke's spirit energy "responds to desperation by getting stronger". In other words, the more bro gets his ass whooped, the more likely he is to pull out a desperate win. Sound like another protagonist we know and love? Possibly one inspired by this one? One who ALSO got his face annihilated without defending? 😆 (Though to be fair to Ichigo, he had been knocked silly several times BEFORE Grimmjow decided to go for the 400-hit combo.) Of course Kubo could very well have simply been doing an homage to this era of anime in general. It's not just YuYu and DBZ. many shows of the time had moments of pummeling similar to this. Also, y'all have already pointed out how hits can feel harder in older anime. From what I understand, it's a combination of technical limitations AND artistic flare. As animation has gotten easier and less prohibitively expensive (even though animators still don't receive the pay they should DAMNIT), studios have generally been making animations smoother and flowey...er. Back in the day, when shows had a lot less to work with, they emphasized certain moments of action A LOT; rapid-fire punching being one example, pausing on hits like it's a winning Smash Bros. move being another. With fewer frames to see, they made those frames feel more staccato and chunky to maintain excitement. Excitement that can now be maintained through more liberal use of special effects, smooth camerawork, etc.

Spidey definitely hit on one of the only big discrepancies in FMAB. I definitely think Kimbley is too smart to be getting played like that, and even on the grounds that he isn't, why would he just go along with it when he knows that even she knows she is a hostage. He had no reason to even pretend anymore at that point

#SundayRundown #FullmetalAlchemist Now that the capital sin of Pride has made his debut, you've finally met the entire Homunculus Family! Also, something very ironic. Pride is the eldest of the homunculi, despite looking the youngest. On the other side we have Bradley (aka Wrath) as the youngest of them all, only being a few decades old, besides looking the eldest of the whole bunch. It also makes sense for Pride to be the oldest sin, since that was always considered to be the original and worst of the seven. And another thing, this time about my fave FMA character, my boy Kimblee! As @Jeffery Sit already pointed out, he was being genuine about deeply respecting Winry's parents. As weird as it sounds, Kimblee is a surprisingly sincere person. Which is why he was the only one honest enought to point out what the soldiers stationed at Ishval were: a bunch of killers. Above all else, he respects people who stick to their ideals until the bitter end, regardless of the consequences. Which is why he was genuinely sad about the Rockbell's death. But there's also a darker side to this story. In the manga, it's deeply implied that Kimblee ended up at the Rockbell's clinic for a very specific reason. Killing them both. They were saving Ishvalan lives, thus getting in the way of the Amestrian Government, making it harder to carve the infamous "crest of blood". It just so happened that, when he arrived at their place, Scar had already dealt with them. Still, Winry was never going to *not* be a war orphan. Pretty grim stuff.
