Carly@37:33 :-) Positive: Drago Sr throwing in the towel. Negative: I'll have to eventually watch the entire movie again, but it doesn't seem to me that they fleshed out Adonis' arc very well.

When you both noted that it seemed like the fights really happened, I couldn't help reflecting that if you were to watch Cinderella Man, and started to believe that the fights in that movie really happened, it wouldn't be anything to be concerned about, because those fights . . . really happened.

Thank you again for another wonderful reaction; this was one of your best! Carly, I hope your gums are feeling better. If it helps, you should know that Sylvester Stallone HAS been inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota, New York. This is a very big deal: the IHOF doesn't include many non-boxing people. http://www.ibhof.com/pages/about/inductees/observer/stallone.html

If you enjoyed the Rocky movies, but you want to see something different but with the same kind of heart, I highly recommend Real Steel with Hugh Jackman from 2011.

I haven't seen Real Steel, but I am roundaboutedly reminded of Imagine Dragons' Radioactive video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktvTqknDobU

Stephen Malloy

That was a really great reaction. Very entertaining and honest feeling.

I have seen REAL STEEL — late at night on a Disney Cruise, no less — and it’s good and worthwhile.

If you are longing to see Sylvester Stallone young again and in his prime, then FIRST BLOOD should be on your list. For most people who saw Rocky I and Rocky II in a movie theatre, FIRST BLOOD is where movie goers were re-introduced to Sylvester Stallone in a different role, as John Rambo.

Cassie! I believe I heard this correctly LOL... after Buffer does the signature "Let's get ready to rumble!" ...did you start into The Jock Jam MegaMix ??!!
