Wonderful thumbnail

Kevin

Hey there Cowgirl! Lookin' good 🤠

Bill W

Sexy thumbnail 😍🤠 Until I come up with something more clever, I'm going with The Popcorn Kid. You're gonna out-squint Carly! =D Squint Edgewood!

Dazman

Love that Cassie saying "I do know that *actor's name* is in this" and being completely mistaken has become a regular thing.

Dazman

Well, the Patreon Player is fun; I haven't had such problems with stuttering and buffering for years. Certainly not since investing in Ultrafast full fibre-optic broadband...

Robert da Spruce

Great thumbnail Cassie! Nice Clint Eastwood (Edgewood) squint! 😀

To answer your question about reclaiming bullets: not really. At this point in history as today, most bullets were of the pre-assembled mass-made cartridge type, that is, the projectile is inside a case / shell backed with gunpowder and a primer. Once fired, the lead projectile is deformed by the explosive force and barrel, and it may fragment upon hitting the target, as well as being contaminated by dirt and such. It is also separated from the (used) shell which is subsequently ejected from the firearm. The bullet is basically unusable as-is now. It is possible to reclaim the lead in fired bullets by collecting them, melting them down, purifying the lead, and then casting the result into new bullets — but you'd also need to manufacture new shells and assemble the bullets into the shells with primer and gunpowder. Realistically, it is [EDIT: remove "cheaper"] faster and easier to just buy new ammunition from the factory that mass-makes it. In earlier times however (e.g. the American Revolution), with e.g. musket balls which are fired by first loading a firearm with gunpowder behind the ball, you could cast molten lead into bullets. There is a scene of this in the film The Patriot. Of course, musket balls are much less precise and reliable than cartridge ammunition, as well as being much slower to load.

Steven Ashford

I agree with almost all of what you said. I do reload a great deal of my own ammunition. It is much cheaper, to reload your own but not easy. It is time consuming and depending on what I’m trying to accomplish determines weather or not I reload or just buy it. I can typically reload my own for 1/4 or less the cost of factory ammo. Again, trade off is time.

Uncle Phoenix

On these really great ones; I can’t stand the edited version. I have to watch the full version.

Thanks for the reply Steven. Nice to hear from someone who actually does this, and yeah, I am not sure why I said "cheaper" as that doesn't make much sense on reflection. Definitely though time is a big "cost".

"I love a map,.... I'm terrible at them,.... but, I like looking at 'em,..." made me smile Cassie. As for reusing bullets - it depends on what you have to reshape them and what type of bullets the gun uses. Black powder bullets can be shaped fairly easily with a mold. More modern bullets come in multiple parts - the shell, packing, gun powder and the lead. Some people load their own bullets, but most just buy them - it's cheaper( when I say cheaper - I mean in time spent/labor - not materials and for buying the equipment to do it) and easier. When you shoot a bullet if it hits anything it doesnt retain its shape so most bullets (if you can find them) are not reusable. Bullets have so many grains of gun powder in them and that can vary a little - more powder grains - more firepower - too many and the bullet will just expode and damage your gun,... more grains of gunpowder = higher shell velocity, higher impact, and greater range - some guns are designed to withstand the greater forces involved - and some are not,... Most people today just buy new bullets - otherwise you have to have the right equipment and knowledge. edit: Read the post a couple up and Gabriel and Steven A stated it better than I did.

Steven Ashford

I’ve been reloading for over 32 years. I truly enjoy it. Actually thought about holding classes to teach others at one point. I even have a caster and melt my own alloy configurations for target and hunting.

If "G-D- Hero!" isn't on a t-shirt by next week, I'll be very disappointed!

2016 version is blasphemy

I have a ln issue with your statement about the accuracy of muzzle loading rifles. I have a Thompson Center remake of the Hawken 50 caliber. With iron sights and off hand, I regularly shot the heads off of sunflowers at 60-75 yards, shooting 60 grains of black powder. It may not have the RANGE of modern rifles, but don't say they aren't ACCURATE within their range.

Mrs. Cullen was played by Haley Bennett. I was already a fan when this came out, but some magazine made a big deal about her as 'the next Jennifer Lawrence' and that's just an unfair thing to do to anyone. Bennett is good, but not that good, and never became that kind of star. If you want to see her first film role, she played the teenage pop diva in Music and Lyrics (2007), a Drew Barrymore/Hugh Grant rom-com you might like if you haven't seen it already.

"Guero/guera" basically slang for light skinned person. Some use it to mean "whitey". Similar to "gringo" which is generally reserved for Americans, "guero" can be anyone of European descent with lighter skin/hair, even if they're part Mexican.

BTW, if you're looking for ideas of tv shows to watch, there's a Magnificent Seven tv series! 22 episodes, it ran for only 2 seasons (1998-2000), but it's very good. 🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠 Michael Biehn (The Terminator, Aliens, The Rock, Tombstone) is the leader of The Seven. It also stars Eric Close and Ron Perlman. Definite potential for a future "Sevens Week". 😁

Cassie walks into a saloon. Bartender says "we don't want no trouble here!". Cassie says, with a steely-eyed stare, "Not gonna be no trouble, I'm just looking for the man who shot my popcorn maker".

Cassie, hows about, for your next three-peat reaction video marathon, you do three JOHN WAYNE movies at different points in his long career. "Stagecoach", something in the middle (poll?) and finish with "The Shootist". Then once and for all, for our sakes, if not for your own, you'll finally know who THE DUKE is............🤔😎💛

Sorry, Cassie, I just got to your reaction because I hadn't seen this film before so I watched it today in order to get to your reaction. I like the original the best with this version in second place although I had a couple of very minor issues with it. A Gatling gun for instance can aim accurately at roughly 200 yards distance and in this film it looks like it's way farther than that in which the bullets fired would have hit the ground long before they hit the town so accurately picking people off, but no biggie. The acting wss excellent, the cinematography was perfect, the score just right and the sound design spot on. My favorite characters were Goodnight, Emma, Billy Red Harvest and Jack all perfectly portrayed. Great reaction. ❣️ Oh, and I was going to watch the youtube version so I could see it on my big screen TV, but it has been blocked with the message that it's an MGM film, which is odd because you've watched plenty of MGM films before from which I never saw that stipulation.

Didn’t know they made a MagneVesticent Eight.

Once you've gotten several 1960s and early 70s Westerns under your belt you then need to go and watch James Garner in Support Your Local Sherriff

No Country For Old Men will be a good reaction
