Theo is played by Kate Siegel, aka Mrs. Mike Flanagan. And he must thank his lucky stars every day to have found a woman who's so willing and eager to do everything she has for him. Surprisingly enough, her homosexuality is straight from the original book in 1959, where naturally it had to be kept pretty subdued to get the book published, but the subtext is extremely clear reading it now, and even made it intact into the 1963 film (while the 1999 one just has her be openly bi, which really isn't as interesting as knowing they were getting away with something).
