This is not the story I expected today, but wow what an incredible episode! Exploring Hannah’s backstory in a somewhat unconventional way as she realizes there is something unusual going on with Miles.

This is a great case for why a twist being "predictable" doesn't necessarily have to be a problem. A ton of people picked up on Hannah being a ghost, with her constant refusal to eat and never leaving the grounds, but this episode is so well done that it doesn't matter at all and you can still enjoy it as a piece of art. Plus, hardly anyone saw coming that she died literally seconds before we first met her rather than years or decades ago.

Agreed! And there's so much more to it than Hannah! The way her story was used here to reveal more about literally everyone else in the house was beautifully done.

Oh!! Before I watch. If you find yourself wanting to do another double episode drop in the Flanoverse, I'd highly HIGHLY recommend eps 6-7 of Midnight Mass. I'll leave it there except to say I won't watch Ep 6 reactions unless 7 is right behind it. It's like holding in a sneeze. Ok, that's it. Watching now!

Well said, a lot of things could be gimmicky, but when used properly it can be an incredible story. (the most recent agatha all along episode comes to mind).
