I haven't read the manga for this for how short the canon content actual is for this arc, but 100% it would be so much shorter. In a current special remake that's happening, I've read that they condensed 5 episodes worth of the original into 1. That's how bad the fluff can be sometimes, if not worse.😅

The FMI remaster is taking 56 chapters into 21 episodes. Plus heres a fun fact, Little Garden is 15 chapters adapted into 8 episodes.

I'm actually glad I get to rewatch this arc with yall because despite One Piece being my #1 manga, I did not remember this arc 😂 . Like I knew it happened, I just really remembered the ending. It definitely isn't in my top 10 arcs, but then again I only really love a handful of arcs before the Water 7 arc. From watching everything now though, I can tell the remake will be so amazing. Especially that clash between the giants.

Yea I saw that too. One skipped panel in-particular is a very strange choice to make. (Being vague so there are no spoilers.) But overall quality is pretty nice to see. Can’t wait to see studio wits remake tho. Love the art direction we’ve got to see so far.

Little Garden does drag on a bit too long tbh. Out of all the arcs of One Piece, it is a bit slower - same with the next one. But they are important to the overall story. I don't blame you guys for getting a little bored with the current show. Just know that it will pay off. When OP cooks, it cooks. I will add, though, that you guys made it through Syrup Village and that's definitely the worst arc by far.
