That little Jon clip is fire. I worked at a nightclub as a bouncer in college when "Get Low" was the hotness. Of any song the DJ played, that one always got everyone going more than anything else. A year or so after that song dropped, he came to that nightclub to do a concert, and I will never forget that night, it was fucking wild.

Hey guys! Just thought I’d weigh in regarding Vance’s comment about the “purpose” of post-menopausal women. I believe that he was alluding to a distorted version of the Grandmother Hypothesis. Evolutionary anthropologists have long wondered about the adaptive role of menopause in H. sapiens, since most female mammals continue to give birth throughout adulthood. The Grandmother Hypothesis provides a potential explanatory framework for why a protracted, post-reproductive phase might increase a kin group's overall reproductive fitness: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grandmother_hypothesis It's disappointing how often these sorts of hypotheses are either a) reported as fact, or b) get picked up by cretins who turn them into weapons of gender essentialism.
